I had a similar realization last week, I was off work bc I had Covid and level my devils advocate Rod up to 100% and noticed the XP gain. Been trying to progress the Lucia Rod since then

So when we fully master a rod and reel and lure. What is the benefit of that besides xp. Like I have been looking everywhere to figure out the point of mastery. Do we get my gold or diamonds when casting or is it just master it and move on.

It’s so you can get the level 90 reel and level 100 rod. You need that xp to level up to get them

I know I'm already a 105 I have the rid and reel. What I mean is once we level a rod and reel up to mastery what benefit if any is there for doing that.

Appreciate this intel Darth. I knew that using smaller rods gave more xp, but never knew that cycling through rods as well as lures and baits after hitting max had this much benefits, Thanks again, definitely gained a sub.

On golden ridge go to the dam pike and muskie quick xp of 125-175

Caught a fish scoring 18,549 points and rod and reel mastery increased 0%. Devils advocate, champion reel, 22lb braid. Fish weighed 34.88 lbs. seems like a bug.
