@@TalesFromOurPocket You should stay at Kobarid to see the ww1 museum there. It is one of the best small museums in Europe. After that you could visit Tolminka gorge. It is more beautiful then Blejski Vintgar gorge. And it is just 10 km from Most na Soči, where you have started with car train adventure backto Bohinj. Even for Soča valley you need about week to see all the beauty and war remains there. I hope that you have spent a good time in our country. 🙂

Prettier than Vintgar!? That's hard to imagine. 😍 Wed love to return and spend longer in western Slovenia - we absolutely loved it.

Great video, keep it up, ye are great travel guides! Was wondering if that was an outdoor altar with pews rather than a classroom. Have seen them elsewhere. Anyway, safe & happy travelling

Another great video. I was shocked by the unfamiliar landscape until you came up with the inscription: Zatrnik. I have never been there before and I live in Slovenia. The Americans had to show me what I was missing. Shame on me, ha ha

That wasn't a snake. It's a legless lizard, known as the slow worm

@@TalesFromOurPocket They are quite common here and it is found throughout Europe and some parts of Asia. They mostly eat worms and snail, so they are completely harmless. They do however live for a very long time, with the oldest known being over 50 years old.

why is everybody going to Bled its nothing special, the only special thing about Bled is the price go to Bohinj, Soča Valley, Ptuj, Velika Planina, Postojnska jama, Logarska Dolina ...
@TalesFromOurPocket2 жыл бұрын
We loved Logarska Dolina! Slovenia is gorgeous. I think people like Bled for what it offers - a great small town, a bit of history, a pretty lake that's easy to walk around, and an island that's easy to get to. It's pretty unique!
