Instead of invading 3 players, you can invade Magnus the Beast Claw in Altus Platuea. If you win (once) or lose (thrice), it will advance White Mask Varre's quest. This is particularly useful when playing offline.

I never had a challenge in eldenring because i played ds3 that ping ping pong with the violin caught me slipping but when i played bloodborne and its dlc i literally had to lock in for constant fights and the sheer aggression my easiest boss would be lady maria And the the orphan thingy

@@rockstationgaming i'm so confused by this. you can still play the DLC after completing the game. like your save file with the completed game would work perfectly fine for accessing the DLC - it's probably even the most convenient. have all the stuff, all the graces, etc. why would you need to start a new game file just to play the DLC?

When you invade during Varré's questline, teleport back to your world by using the Finger Severer. Even if you don't do anything in the host's world, it still counts. Also, if getting the blood of Vyke's maiden is hard, teleport from the Four Belfries to the Chapel of Anticipation, kill the Grafted Scion, and loot the blood of your own maiden in the chapel.

Hey, Just an FYI.. To use White mask's path, First you have to Visit Round Table Hold Then Beat Godrick, then he'll be in Lakes Area... And In the Invasion side, Do the Invasion then you can Use the item to return to your world.. As long as you "invade" a world you're good No need to fight and loose runes.. And as for the maiden Blood, Easier way then dealing with the Frenzied area is Going to Four Belfries In north west lakes region and going to Precipice of Anticipation... What takes you where you start the game but you'll have 2 Great runes to choose from IF you didn't beat that boss and you'll get a Spirit ash and the Maiden you need to go to is in the church you started in...

They actually added a very cool NPC invasion option to varre’s quest line. It’s somewhere in the north west area of the Altus plateau depending on how early you get to it, it can be quite challenging, and you can grab yourself a second grade star hammer.

I started a new character a few weeks ago. Just finished it a few days ago. Now I’m just going around getting and leveling up all the weapons I may switch to for the DLC. Clearing out dungeons and etc. I don’t want this character to be on NG +. I also haven’t beaten Mohg on this character. I want to wait until the DLC is out so it feels a bit more seamless.

Yeah the new Radahn is a joke. My friends thought he was hard post-nerf! Ha.. they have no idea how much suffering we day 1 players went through trying to kill that beast on our first playthrough. Created a new player when the DLC was announced. Got to defeat everyboss (Except Elden Beast) and now i have a lvl 150 character and with over 100 smithing stones from 1-9 so i can test new builds and weapons

just some notes 1. You dont need to defeat Godrick for Varres questline, any shardbearer will do, so if you more confortable with another shardbearer thats fine. 2. There is an NPC you can invade if you dont want to do PVP, he is called Magnus the Beast claw in Writheblood ruins, invade kill him job done. 3. lastly, as long as you dont want to do the frenzied flame ending, by far the easiest maiden is Irina just across the bridge of sacrifice. You ahem have to unalive her but she doesnt fight back. Note it locks you out of frenzied flame ending though.

Is there any reason we expect the DLC could impact our end game decision? I am unsure if I want to enter the dlc before making that choice or to take that glorious end game gear and enter the lands of shadow as elden lord to take care of business and make my dlc decisions based off that.

I have one character and have done since day one. I've never been able to make another one, in any game (such as Elder Scrolls, Diablo etc) because I feel like I'm cheating on my original character! Lol. I'm lvl 318 and just finished my NG+4 playthrough. Gonna hold there and wait for the DLC to drop. Got 50 of every single smithing stone, both standard and somber, 10 ancient dragon stones and 6 ancient dragon sombers. I'm ready 😉

Technically not. The DLC was scaled to endgame difficulty and some bosses were allegedly designed to be as hard as Malenia, so the additional mechanic only matters for players with really high rune lvl to not steamroll the content.

What armor set is that at 856? I see the snow witch hat but what's that cloak go to? Or is it a mod? I hate when I see mods and then you can't even use it unless you're on pc and I just can't justify using a pc when I can play on a 75 inch TV. But please let me know the armor set I love that.

Beast Champion Armor Set, dropped by Bernahl. Game gives you the altered version, you need to use sewing kit or Boc to get the unaltered version with the cape.

@upspal ooooohhhh I've been wearing that all day while playing lol but I had no idea. Come to think of it I did notice that it said altered and I just assumed I altered it cause I didn't like it. I will definitely be changing that. Cause beast armor is an attractive shiny silver set but there's no cape so it's a bit masculine. That cape made it much more feminine and my character as you probably gathered from what I just said is a female. I worked hard on the character design menu to make her actually look cute so I hate when she's all super butched out hahaha
