Completely agree. Drinks only on a first date. It's a good opportunity to get to know each other and if there isn't a connection, there's minimal investment of time and money by both people.

First date we met up at a bar but we didn’t drink and just ate food. Afterwords we walked around town and got IceCream and then at the end we kissed. 2nd date, we met at Dave and Busters and was there for 3-4 hours and also ate food. No kiss this time but we were very touchy towards each other. It was a great night! 3rd date, I drove us this time to a cool dessert place downtown. Then I took her stargazing out of town. The sky was very clear thankfully and I brought a blanket to keep us warm while we were looking at the stars lying down on the top of my car. We ended kissing and had sex. Cuddled after and stayed in my car until 3 am and drove us back home :)

A few days ago I wasted money at a nice restaurant for a first date, and we had little in common and there wasn't a spark. I definitely agree with your points, thanks for the advice.

My 3rd date at my house: Swordfish on grill, she helps by making the salad, we kitchen dance (fast or slow depending on the music) to "get in the mood" for dinner, candles and a sinful desert...chocolate of any kind. Of course a lot of good conversation too. Thanks for validating, Tripp

The Michelin tire company created the Michelin Guide to give people a reason to drive around and burn through more tires. A one star means the restaurant is worth a stop. Two stars is worth a detour to visit. Three stars is worthy as a sole reason for the trip.

It’s true first dates should always be a drink or two at a bar! I’ve done this in the past. I usually do frozen margs at a Mexican restaurant and let me tell you I’ve gone lucky few times already on that same night.

Great advice but definitely not the hotel bar suggestion, that is too easy for a woman to misinterpret. Stick to classy, quiet wine bars with romantic lighting.

Meh, okay tips but gotta give few improvements (I've been on many dates, had success and built experience). 1. Since you're going to go for a kiss, you need to do some light physical escalation. Keep it playful and do not put too much pressure on the kiss, it has to happen normally. 2. At the first date, sit at the bar not at a table, for reason 1. 3. Make a transition in the first and second date. It could be going to a second bar or for a fun activity like mini-putt. I like to go for a kiss right there if the date is going well. 4. Same rule applies for a second date. If you're going to go for a diner, go for drinks after it I beg you. 5. Keep a second date diner light. I like buvettes and sushi restaurants, that way we can share. Also if you can sit next to her at the diner do it (not a dealbreaker here). 6. Do not propose to go back to your place on a first date if you're looking for more than sex unless you have a good reason to do so. It will turn many women off. Depending on the vibe, you could propose it on a second date. 7. Dating tips: hold eye contact, be inteterested in her, have humour, smile a lot, keep the conversation about her or about stuff. 8: at some points shift your body towards her for a bit more escalation, then shift back to the bar after a while. Do this a few times. Shifting back might make her chase you which is what you want if you want to build attraction. Good luck !

On first date I sometimes pick nice specialty coffee shop. Depending on country, city, some are opened till ie. 8-9 pm. The interior is pretty often very nice, the light is warm, moody, similar to hotel bar, they have good coffee, you can take ie. one piece cake (and eat together). Low cost, you can get to know her, you have opportunity to look her in her eyes etc. I would also say that finding a good spot in restaurant, hotel bar etc. is ... at least to me, important. If there is a table between me and her, we sit opposite then on a first date it very often feels like interrogation ;p My point is, if the table is square then sitting opposite to her (180 degrees) is the worst, at least from my perspective. If there is no option to sit hmm next to each other at some kind of couch, bench, then on the square table ;p i try to at least sit 90 degrees to her (sorry, my english is lacking here ;p) (so ie. pick the table with 3 chairs), but not opposite (180 degrees).

Last weekend: casual date with 1 bottle and mid tier familiar foods this weekend: movie ( one piece red) and coffee -- kiss if applicable next weekend: beach or a yacht club? i haven't got this far on planning yet---sex if applicable this is the last chance ill give to traditional dating ..if this fails ill go back to hookers

If I need to set a video at 1.25x speed for the video to sound normal, the pace of the talking is too slow. The video is good advice on not wasting time or money if you are not serious.

I think a "nice bar" at night with low lighting etc seems too high stakes for a first date. I prefer something light, like a walk at a park. Dinner is too cliche and provides little opportunity for flirty touching. I prefer something side by side so we do playful touching.

I think you are referring to 'woman looking for sugar daddies' is where the matchmaker said to go for dates because that's where all the men would be checking in/out. Go someone where safe, sexy and make her feel special was the three things they pointed out!

Hmmm I'd prefer physically escalating to increase the woman's buying temperature and find out if she's truly interested as I go for a kiss. It all stems from the time and environment. And, your Chilli's and Applebee's non recommendation is fucking hilarious 😂

Tripp I do photography as just hobby and fun and how do you feel about shooting and esculating w someone while at it... Usually hit them up from tinder and kinda mention also do photography most be down to chill and shoot... Usually would talk to em as I'm shooting... How would I do the three date thing with this.... Sometimes I shoot at my place and meet people there sometimes
