It was my first attempt and I got the F1 visa. I got approved this last Tuesday 30 May 2023. I went with no Travel History. My passport was with no any visa. I didn't smile even one time. I didn't see anything funny. I was so serious I couldn't fake a smile but was just focused with eyes contact to the consuler officer while responding to the questions. I have strong ties back home. That's why I got my visa approved. I am employed for 6 years now in the same company. I am a Logistics Manager with a good salary. I will pay my studies by myself and got 25% of scholarship from the university. I am Married. I have no siblings or parents in the US.

@@AdelekeAugustus I have been rejected twice and it was as a result of lack of right information. I didn't just get the right information and so i performed badly in the first one. I have learned a lot and have been in mock interviews. Please If my profile, like funding, sponsor and school haven't changed, Please can I go back for the third time with the same profile? Please help me with an advise. People keep telling me that it is red flag to go back with the same profile. Do you think i should quit the process now and reapply for another semester in another school?

I working in a health facility which the own of the hospital is willing to sponsor me to college . My question is when filling i-20 form what name should be fill on it ? Is it the person name or the hospital name or both names is needed . Like saying : sponsor First - last - sponsor middle :is now the hospital name . E.g John Johnson ( xyz hospital) But the bank statement name is the showing hospital name ,Is it acceptable or not ?

You said the sponsor one filled in their F-120 should be the same person you'll carry the statement of account for the interview. My question is, the space in F-120 where the wrote "Name of parents or Guardian" and signature, is that place meant for the sponsor to sign or the parents? I'm asking because, my Mum is not my major sponsor

No. If you’re over 18, you don’t need parent or guardian to sign that line on your I-20. The sponsor I’m referring to in this video is about who/where the school listed on your I-20 as source of finance. Usually you must have submitted this information before they issued your I-20

An easy way is by showing employment contract, mentioning you have families in your home country, and also highlighting how your degree will contribute value to your country upon completion.

Please what do you have to say about someone who filled in the DS 160 that he is unemployed and made some explanations of previous employment(This is in the Present employment section).Then,because the DS 160 asked for previous employment within the last five years.The answer was NO because the employment year is over five years.

Student chasing a bachelor’s degree at the U.S…….Does the visa office ask them questions about home ties or questions about why they want to go back to school cause basically they never had work experience or anything……….please I would love an answer to this question

Yes, they do ask these questions. You don’t need work experience to be able to explain how your degree will be valuable in Nigeria when you go back.

The best question to ask yourself is "Why should I be approved this time around?" They can even ask you what has changed since the last time you appeared for this interview? It might be helpful to make sure you have changed something that might otherwise make you eligible.

@@AdelekeAugustus Thank you very much for this reply. My last interview was about 2 months ago and i have written my school for any more TA or available funding. They said I would have such positions but i would get them when i have arrived the University. So, will it be enough to tell the V.O that i have secured 40% paid study leave from my employer? Do you think that would be enough and that I couldn't present my case properly last time? Or do you advise that since the school can't increase the funding, I should quit this process and make applications for other semester and perhaps to other schools?

I would advise to use the statement you submitted to the school in getting your I-20 from the school.
