How long does your garlic usually last storing this way? I have honestly only stored my garlic in breathable bags. I’m curious? Do you have issues with mold at all?

I never commented but I hang them in my basement too. I re-use a netted bag from some grocery purchased garlic.

That’s a great idea to re-use your bags. It’s nice to just go downstairs instead of to the grocery store! 😉

I braid the stalks hang hang it in the pantry.

No mould and it keeps for about a year. Try one in a small jar and do it as an experiment.
