This Esper list uses blink to bounce creatures back and fourth to take advantage of ETB effects. I hope you enjoy the video and as always thank you for watching!

You are correct with your "Good game" etiquette, Swayze. People just like to argue even if its not proper. Saying "GG" is basically shaking someones hand in real life and then you proceed to concede, many people forget this because of how gaming culture has developed with the toxic nature of "GG" and its different meanings.

If the opponent doesn’t concede then I assume they want me to play out my turn in case I make a misplay and they can turn it around. If they don’t concede I think it is always correct to play like they have a trick to dig them out of the hole.

I agree with you about the GG situation. Rarely I’ll give my OP the win if I clearly in a winning situation. For example if I have to go somewhere mid match or if my daily win are done. I’ll sometimes give up the win but not to often. At the end of the day it is a game and I don’t take it to serious. Great brew as usual, love me some blink!

I had the pleasure of bumping into you on the diamond ladder over the weekend. I was really excited to see what type of deck you were running but you got mana-screwed 😭. Just wanted to say it was super cool to see your name pop up and you were super polite, I'm a big fan.

The golden argosy can also save a creature from the exile effect of unearth. "Oh, you took out my simian simulacrum", unearth put him on a ride on the old Goldie and boom, permanently back on the battlefield with an extra etb trigger.

Being in esper you should look into the loop of repair and recharge -cruelty of gix- junji ..... Even a single copy of each really sets the pace of the late game since you can play cruelty use all of its chapters that apply to your situation then repair the cruelty back into play and if you use cruelty to bring junji back if the opponent removes the junji you get to grab another creature where if you choose the other creature and they removed it then your cruelty was wasted..... But the biggest thing is that all of those cards can bring a prototype creature back in it's biggest form from the graveyard which can be back breaking when that creature is fleshgorger bc it costs the opponent 7 life each time to remove it so without life gain they can only target it twice without dying

Undying Malice is also a great way to cheat the prototype creatures for just U, especially with Fleshgorger.

I built myself a modified Grixis deck based off the deck that won worlds, I threw in the Metamorph, some Fleshgorgers, two Mightstones and Weakstones to help ramp and then added one copy of Portal to Phyrexia. If I ever get to copy the portal with the Metamorph, that would be a sweet, sweet combo.

For as frustrating as it is losing to the early game 'gg' crowd...it makes it that much more satisfying beating them.

Proto Blink is so fun and actually a unique feeling deck. It plays out as a slightly underpowered midrange deck that can just take over the board by blinking protypes out of nowhere. I built it UW at first but now I'm playing a bant build which feels more consistent and stronger so far.

HI Swayze, love your content and have been watching it for quite a while. Just some kind advice, to fix your screen region recording as it clips off around the edges. And secondly, the card is touch the spirit realm, with no "of" inside it. similarly, previously when you played restoration of eiganjo, you pronounced it as eijango instead if i recall. just some feedback to take your videos to the next level for your consideration.

I just mute my opponents from the start... What about Arcane Proxy? Seems legit for this. Also, as has been mentioned, Combat Thresher. Both Loran's would be good also.

As a general rule of thumb I'll pass and let you finish out the game. Finish up those dailies ya know? But if you start taking 15 second actions I'm just gonna concede. I think in the instance you mentioned that the guy was either bluffing you or was sending the genuine. GG

On my firsts play I learned the hard way that you HAVE TO target something on Ertai's ETB. If opponent happens to have the board cleared you're gonna destroy your own Argosy. Of course, you played 11 times and didn't have this happening to you. Knowing my twisted luck I almost believe you

The combat thresher has double strike and card draw. Might be good for this deck. Making a variant utilizing some. Considering slip out the back or other cards that can phase creatures out. Do prototype creatures return full sized if the are smaller when they phase out?
@cristhianpatrickmelendez1305
@cristhianpatrickmelendez1305 Жыл бұрын
They phase in the same way they were in the battlefield. Phasing in/out is not the same as blinking/flickering
@kingofbudokai
@kingofbudokai Жыл бұрын
Phasing does not cause a creature to leave and re-enter the battlefield. As such, it is seen as the same creature it was when it was phased, rather than returning as an unaltered form by default. Think of it this way. Blink effects are teleportation, phasing is just invisibility. (Obviously not a perfect metaphor, but it is an easy way to remember the difference.)

It kills me that people want you to concede when they know they have the win. It’s not all about the win on arena you also have the quests to complete and if your conceding all the time rather then playing the game out until someone has a victory it’ll take way longer to meet the quests that you need to complete to be able to buy packs to upgrade or build new decks.
