Trading 8am-9:20 am - then 10:05am -11:30am and then again 1:00pm - 2:00 pm (Eastern Standard Times) are the best times that work for trading crude! Setting a weekly target goal vs. a daily profit goal is a brilliant strategy btw!

Where can I find that calculator? Also love the videos, very straightforward and practical. My goal as of now is $500 a month which breaks down to $125 a week and with my pull back strategy I typically get 2 A+ setups a day which is $12.5 a trade. This seems like such a motivational and achievable target since my average paper trading results is $23.5 (trading MES).

Generally speaking, what is your avg percentage stop loss.. and do you always enter trade and immediately set a stop loss? What type of stop loss setting do you use (trailing stop, stop-limit, etc.)?

Maybe I need to start looking at not trading when the market is volatile at the open. Just watching this video alone made me realize that you can create a better RVR with a slower moving market before the open which I had never thought about till now. I have been practicing trading the open and what I have noticed is that you pretty much have to have a pretty large risk to not get stopped out instantly. The Market swings so crazily at the open it's unreal, one second your up three points next second, you're negative two points and stopped out and it's so fast. It can happen in a one-minute candle, and it feels like you're smothering your entry point way too much so next time it's a way worse RVR because you make it larger, so you don't get stopped out again before the move even happens. I really did not think you could ever have a five tick stop loss until now because I thought you would instantly get stopped out, but you showed me something very interesting today thank you for that.

Most people don't trade the open. They wait for the first move to play out so they can clearly see what direction it choses. That's when traders often "buy the dip, or wait for the push up to buy puts or short the stock.

If you're trading with a firm that has time limits, pick a new one. Apex, Topstep, my funded futures, trade day, literally any of the major ones have no time limits.
