Could you suggest some strategic job search methods to get back into work as fresher/intern hvac engineer after a career gap of 5 years due to family reasons.. should i directly engage/contact potential employers on LinkedIn or some other ways ? Also is it better to be honest about the gap.. What reasons and communication skills can make sure i crack the interview..

In the HVAC industry, hiring typically happens quickly, so I suggest engaging with people you know who are still in that industry. They're going to be great resources for you and connect you with companies/people who are hiring. Also, yes LinkedIn will be helpful too. ALWAYS be honest about the career gap. You can put it directly on your resume and LI profile that you needed to take time off due to family reasons (no need to share specific details).
