I notice all of the large urbanist never bring this up or create content about it to bring us more walkable cities. I’m talking about the true responsible parties . Global warming is upon us . Why no one has interviewed “THEE” most important parties to bring these places back . US finance committee Ron Wyden. Would explain the growth Ponzi scheme. DOD Secretary Lloyd Austin . Can explain what Eisenhower got wrong about highway bill and the environmental damage. They said it was for defense purposes. US chamber of commerce Secretary Gina Raimondo . The entity that created Euclidean zoning so many of us despise . Surface transportation board Secretary Martin Oberman . Federal transit administration secretary Nuria Fernandez . 😢

I live in a town where I can walk to the grocery store, gym, post office and most other things. You really don't need to have a big city to have walkability unless you think everyone is entitled to a costco or walmart level of shopping within walking distance. Simple local stores will do the trick.

For me the USA and Canada are places I even won't consider having a vacation in. It might be nice to visit national parks there, but getting there means driving. And I will not drive when I have just a few weeks there, driving is a wasted time.

I would never raise my kids in a suburban environment but it is hard not to as where i live theres very little apartments that has more than just 1 or 2 bedrooms.
