#baptism Do we need to be baptized in water? The word says "my people are destroyed for lack of knowledge," and this is the case with baptism or what some call "immersion." This video looks at the question about whether or not water baptism is necessary.
You see, even though the Hebrew scriptures tell us specifically that we must cleanse in water, there is still a doubt about baptism. As a result, in this video, we primarily look at what the old testament says regarding baptism to show where possibly could this be coming from into the new testament.

Notice in Acts 19:1-7 the men who did not receive the Holy Spirit needed a person who was cleansed to sanctify them.
