Do We Really Need an Until Dawn Sequel?

As someone who adores this game, seeing Sam's after credit made me think of one or two outcomes. 1. Sam is gonna become a survivor in dead by daylight, based on the injury on her arm. Since Supermassive did make the dbd story game, so why not bring Sam and a wendigo into dbd to advertise it as well as bring on the fans. 2. A crossover game with one survivor from everyone of their other games, to bring until dawn and the quarry into the dark pictures.

Not to be that person, but...Technically not many things really "need" a sequel. In this case i do think it does. We dont get much play time with Matt and jess, we dont see Matt ever meet back up with emily, ashley and chris barley get together, and josh JUST got a new ending that implies you can save him. Im very interested to see where this goes.

Certainly the sequel would canonize certain deaths though, which would line up well with Sam's mental health issues. I think Matt and Jess would be the easiest ones to write off, whereas Sam and Josh would be the only sure fire ones to make it to the sequel given their importance to the story and the remake's additions. It's up in the air for everyone else I think. They might kill off Chris or Ashley and leave the other one alive for emotional ties. I'm just speculating.

I mean There are little to no loose ends with the story so I don't understand the reason behind the sequel, only time can tell

Sam being infected from the Wendigo is a reason for her to go back to the mine with her friends to solve the issue, that's where the plot starts whether there are new mutations or new characters to be involved etc

When the Quarry came out, I thought it would mention the events of Until Dawn. I know the concept of a shared universe is overrated, but both games seem to fit in that general area.

I’ll accept a sequel but in all honesty we should’ve gotten a PREQUEL instead they could’ve given us the wendigo hunters story, the mining/ sanatorium story as well.
