Everything in your garden needs more space or completely thinned out and you get too much mulch in there and if you got a lot of rain in your area you should not be watering your plants as often most times plants just need to be left alone and let the soil do what it's going to do or your soil isn't nutritious enough you have to cut app branches and stuff and put them in a pile Uber the winter and let them break down with some worms and some natural breaking down in order for your garden to grow and flourish.🎉❤

First of all, I can see why your pumpkins are not doing good. You got them confined in those cement squares. I planted pumpkins for the first time in my backyard and the vines grew all the way to the front yard. You are not giving them room to grow you can’t plant everything in containers pumpkin is one mistake ‘and when are you gonna replant your sunflowers so that they can get bigger? I planted mine directly in the ground, but I did not dig them up and separate them so they could get big. I was supposed to do that this year but I didn’t. I’m disabled and can’t get around but as big as the sunflowers were in the little cups, maybe I can plant mine in a pot and they’ll do better. I didn’t think they would do it, but maybe they will if yours is blooming already getting ready to bloom in the little cups let me know how the pumpkins turn out, but put them in the ground
@mzteedoubleu9 күн бұрын
@DeborahK-d2j I've had pumpkins in bigger containers and they did pretty much the same thing. I never get pumpkins. But I find joy in planting them. I will try again next year and the year after that as well. I just love to plant food and flowers. Thanks for the advice about giving them more space.
@DeborahK-d2j8 күн бұрын
@@mzteedoubleu yes I bought mammoth size sunflowers like my grandmother use to have.but the way I planted them clustered together they bloomed but produced little tiny flowers because I didn’t separate for space to grow disappointing but I’m gonna try again. But those pumpkins I planted the vines were over 50 ft long. I was shocked😳

@mzteedoubleu when I was a kid, I planted pumpkins on the side of my house, and the vines grew the entire length of my house plusthe length my backyard. I planted them directly into the ground as well. I got pumpkins. I don't think you're gonna get pumpkins. Growing them in pots, i've never seen anyone get pumpkins from growing in pots. But then again, you might be able to find a video on it. You know how youtube is a magical place lol. Also, since I know you're looking at this comment, look up a video on something called fPj. Look up the video with the fat polynesian dude. He will teach you how to make the best fertilizer you can ever make for all of your plants, and it is all natural. Good luck 👍🏾😊 👊🏾 ✊🏾.

Get you some borax and mix up 2 type of poison for the ants. 1 sugar and borax and the other scrambled egg and borax. Put each in a separate cup with a lid. Put holes in the cups. Dont mix the sugar water borax too strong so you dont kill the ants too fast. You want them to feed the larvae amd feed the queen . So the get (Mule non scented type)
