my theory on the departed realm is that they’re trapped in there mystically the same way geo and that were trapped in the land of lost things

My theory on where or how the departed realm was mixed into the merge was maybe it is currently underground? Because there is nothing saying that realms could not be merged under other realms. Even if it is unlikely, and I believe that maybe the place underground could be with some sort of moisture or big water source to keep the ghosts inside the incasement that is that realm underground. I am not the best at explaining but I hope that makes at least a little sense.

as for the source dragon theory - crystallised was all on about everything having an opposite, oni form dragon form etc so it’d make more sense if the overlord was a source oni

I like the theory of another commenter about how the overlord is a sort of primordial evil that is the antithesis of the source dragons. One who cannot be killed but instead his essence slumbers when he’s defeated and will eventually wake up again.

i have another theory that when sensei wu passed in the merge, he gave some of his elemental power of creation to Arin. I mean when i think about it because when you look at Arin use his new form of spinjitsu that he CREATED btw... Its gold, just like sensei wu's spinjitsu. AND on top of that Arin CREATED a way to transfer spinjitsu to objects that no one knew was possible before. I think your pervious theory about Arin's spinjitsu being part shatterspin and i think that because sense Arin used his new power of creation to create his own spinjitsu he did it by complete accident and i believe that made his creation powers not ass effective and thats why its unfinished spinjitsu and thats why he cant do it all the time on command and i believe that seeing someone use shatterspin made his unfinished spinjitsu merge with shatterspin and thats why he was able to do full spinjitsu after that.

I really like the Overlord theory but there’s one problem with it and it’s in the rules of immortality the immortal couldn’t have be created by anything or anyone. Also the departed did merge that was confirmed by Doc on twitter.

Tommy specifically said that this is his *personal theory,* not a canon thing. And honestly it should be kept that way because it sucks. I appreciate the attempt at fixing the entire "light = good, darkness = evil" thing that has nothing to do with eastern philosophy, but there are just so many better ways to do so that don't involve making the family/genetic tree of FSM's lineage even more fucked than it already is (by that theory, technically, Overlord Lloyd's grandpa?)

This is my theory My theory suggest that the source onis represent bad stuff maybe the seven deadly sighns and one of them is lord ras master and my theory is that the source onis have the oiwer of the oni as we know some powers are for dragons like ice fire earth and lightning So what of there si a counter part element for each element like heat and quake only that these were not found till a source oni was finally free

I personally think the Departed Realm didn’t merge with the others. In fact, I don’t think it’s one of the sixteen realms at all, but its own separate thing completely. I know it’s probably not at all canon, but I don’t care. It makes way more sense that way.

i believe the reason wu putted a fake sword of fire is because he wanted to see if morro would have been ok with it or to become a villain . and i think the oni created the overlord cuz they had sendend misake to kill the fsm so they probably cretaed the overlord but when he faild they send misake wich also failed . thats why the overlord had oni apearence in crystalized

I don't think anyone saw this on the last one and even though it's been disproved I'm just going to copy paste it. I think that it could be possible that krux and acronix could return as two members of the forbidden five. Do I think it will happen. No, but I have came up with a way to introduce them. The ninja are battling nokt or something and winning but right before they are about to get them for some reason they just stop in mid air, and out from the shadows comes acronix and krux. Then there's at least half of that episode dedicated to a backstory which I also came up with. The time twins crash the iron doom into the period when the forbidden five is rising and tries to conquer something in the now treacherous threes' territory. Which in turn gets them attacked and forced into running away. Later we see them on the move on like a mountain or something and a boulder or something is about to fall on acronix and he has a quick burst of time speed up while krux slows it down for a second and they realize there powers can be re obtained. Switch to quick training montage then they go to fight the treacherous three and the time twins and the three are evenly matched so they team up to take over the world. Any thoughts on the idea?

1: I believe that however wouldn’t she have died or have been banished regardless due to the tornado of creation? As for wu, I know it was an animation error but….. if you know you know what Wu did I like the one about cryptor. I don’t really care for it but it’s fun if that makes sense 4: I’ve also thought of that however that means they would’ve had to created the oni & dragons. Since the FSM was born from both sides of the balance, how would he have seen the merge if he wasn’t (perhaps) a conduit for the source dragons and if this was before he stood before them for the energy cores? 🤷🏻‍♂️ And about the departed realm, it would make sense if it didn’t merge with ninjago or if it’s completely isolated from the rest of the merged lands in ninjago because you gotta think how many old villains are chilling there Chen & clouse, preeminent, motto, plausibly the oni and perhaps the overlord for the time being who’s to say 🤷🏻‍♂️ Think of it like any care and that’s what I think of the departed realm
