It's crazy that Jay Israel would ask if you believed in Jesus while he denies the existence of sin and hell, which is what Jesus came to save is from. His question is pointless and has no good motivation to convince you to repent of your sins and believe in the Son of God for the forgiveness of your sins and reconciliation to God. So, I would gently plead with you sir to be reconciled to God. Don't die in your sins.
