I enjoyed a lot this video. I remember an old lesson in art history about Giotto: he was the first (in his time) to understand than the colors resonate with each other. I remember this every time I’m working on my portraits. It always helps

The fur looks fantastic!! I like the bell instead of the regular pom pom. 😁

@@lap83199 Thanks! I debated a long time about the bell because I can only imagine how annoying it would be to jingle with every step. Also makes it hard to sneak down a chimney in the middle of the night, LOL.

@ but we all know because Santa wears it that it would be a magic bell and only make sounds when he wanted 😁😂

@@lap83199 Hahahaha. I needed that kind of magic when the kids were young and loud!

If you don't tell me how you're getting into my house to spy on my rookie efforts I'm calling the authorities 🤣 I took up art in my 30s (and I'm still in my 30s) after spending my life making safe decisions to bring me and my family financial stability. Now that I have more time and some money to put toward hobbies, I decided to try art as I've always been intrigued but afraid. I do painting too and this really made me reconsider why I think so differently when using paint vs markers. I asked for some more alcohol markers for Christmas so hopefully I'll have more of a chance to practice these techniques.
