While offering it in the stated condition... Maybe you should wait till 1.0 or...ya know, read about how it's early...buy it, then complain it "isn't finished" Cool. Love the complexity folks are willing to take on, yet basic comprehension is...too difficult. 😂

What we found that works ...as a work around until it's fixed... is that once you land your sling cargo...set the hook selector from ALL to Mid and then uncover and hit the emergency release switch. This releases the cargo. You can then turn off the hook power, reselect ALL and close the emegency release cover and you're now good to go pick up another cargo. Hopefully a number of issues will be fixed in the next update. What I really want is the trim system working more than anything else.

but you can't pick up another sling load... or do you do a repair after every load?

@@jamesmontgomery9464 I only did it once the other day, but if you close the emergency release cover (it closes the switch), reset the selector to off and turn off the hook power, you can then repower and go through the same procedure for another sling load. I hope they fix this properly and soon.

You don’t need to use the emergency release. You need to always have the hook set to mid, it’s the only one that works right now. Set the remote to pilot. You need a button mapped to open the cover for the hook release on the cyclic and open it before using the release button.

There are still many things that need to be fixed on this chinook, like you mentioned about the cargo release issues, the flight model is way off and many other things not implemented yet. I am, however hopeful they will sort all these issues out sooner rather than later. Great video…

Dude this is awesome great video my dad is a UH-60 pilot and I went to fort Rucker when he was in flight school and I loved the chinook always and I would love to fly this thing but I don’t have all requirements for dcs but I am getting there I hope I can fly this thing in dcs and I and n real life I also like w you did the tan livery mst people on KZbin use the green one but I like the tan

Question, why does the master caution light intermittently come on then go away early in the flight?

It's because the fuel quantity warning keeps coming on. It's another bug of thr Chinook right now, unfortunately. And it's super annoying.

I’m not going to get it, purely because it’s not for combat. That is just my personal preference, I hope a ton of people buy it and do logistics with it on MP servers so I get to see it operate.
