I am... that guy who is too cool for the Social media!! So I thought! :) You made me rethink how i view social media! I been struggling with this for years. I think I'm a very sensitive person, so when people hate or say negative things regarding my art or me it hurts deeply. So I protect myself by staying away and playing small. I have not been on my IG account for 2 years because of this. But I see you and see your courage! I'm now thinking I should be open to making my own channel and really make a positive addition to the media world.

This spoke so deep to me, in this exact moment - currently semi-procrastinating editing my first KZbin video, feeling overwhelmed at the aspect of starting and fighting the online-ego-presence. Really illuminating insight RE: social media and posting as an artist / musician. I find it difficult to share, I guess I haven't trusted myself and have lacked a bit of confidence. I really appreciate your thoughts on intention and connection. You're right - it is a useful tool and a wonderful way to build community. It's a much more positive way to look at it than just for self-promotion / commodification etc... This has really inspired me to be more creative and friendly with posting about my work and trusting myself :)
