DO YOU GO DIRECTLY TO HEAVEN WHEN YOU DIE? ~ What does the Bible say?

Going directly to Heaven after death - is it scriptural? What does the Bible say about this? There are actually several factors that determine if you go to Heaven right after you die.
We would like to think that Heaven is a place that you go right after you die BUT is this something that we think on our own? Is this something we say to comfort ourselves?
According to the Bible, there are 4 main factors that we need to think about before we can make this assertion.

With countless potential interpretations of the Bible, Christ ensured we wouldn't be left searching for a needle in a haystack. Man, you explained this so well. This video also reminds me of 1 Peter 3:19-20 which talks about Jesus preaching to spirits in prison. Would this topic have implications to the first coming of the Messiah also? Did Old Testament people have to wait too?

I’m in Bible college studying to become a chaplain, I have this question so in OT it mentions the dead are asleep, soul sleep they call it in other denominations. In NT there are scirptures mention to be absent from the body is to be present with the lord and there are some scirptures about Abraham blossom so I’m trying to find out because this confused me.

yeah it is a very good subject to study especially because the Bible is NOT clear in just having a Heaven and Hell. There are definitely several mentions in the Bible about other spiritual places. I will make another video on this too

2 Cor 12:1-4 talks about a third heaven....and seems to separate Paradise, as one of the 3 heavens. I do believe it is all Heaven, but it seems there are multiple levels.
