After watching the TV show NBC's "Community" I have this fantasy about going to college and writing TV shows that take place around college or there students with different genres of stories. Do you think there should be more TV shows that take place in college/grad school because there's so many teen shows? I have ideas for college shows. Comedies like "Victorious" or "Friends", action/fighting, mystery-drama, drama's like "the O.C". , suspense maybe like "Riverdale" or "Mr.Robot", sci-fi like "Roswell" or "Smallville" , and even rom-com stories
@romaldocasasmadridiii23543 жыл бұрын
@Failingpepper 11 exactly
@romaldocasasmadridiii23543 жыл бұрын
@Failingpepper 11 to be fare some of them shouldn't work for high school + a writer could make a "excuse/reason" for anything in a story
@romaldocasasmadridiii23543 жыл бұрын
@Failingpepper 11 first off Victorious was in a high school (of performing arts) Smallville "is self explanatory"? I don't know what you mean but if I learned anything from "Community" is that's there's lots of clubs and teams in community college, the Victorious version could be a theater club or performing arts college, and Smallville had half a season in college. Plus Roswell had both a high school and adult version of there show so why not college? Edit: I don't see why a story of college would harder to do then high school even if the experience is different. Instead of stories about 14-18 year olds why not stories of 19-22 year olds or older there in "a school"? Plus I had some ideas about how these could work before the pandemic started I think
@romaldocasasmadridiii23543 жыл бұрын
@Failingpepper 11 A Smallville lasted half a year in college for the same reason Buffy dropped out the next season a death of a parent, doesn't mean it can't work in college. Roswell is basically Smallville meets Twilight excepts it actually does work well
@romaldocasasmadridiii23543 жыл бұрын
@Failingpepper 11 first off Smallville is like the the Six Million Dollar man in the method of the moment and the way they use their "powers". Plus in the 80s they had a live action Superboy series set in college. But I meant a Smallville/Roswell like story where the boy and his friends are trying to have normal lives and hiding there powers from bad people type of story. Edit: plus in a lot of teen shows while it is more dramatic for "kids" to be in adult type of senario's , like in the 100, Riverdale, the O.C., Degrassi(WatchMojo top 10 moments), I feel it would make more sense to do these things as a 18 year old because I think you would have more liberty to do so rather then a high schooler. Also after community I was like where's all the college shows at? - COLLEGE IT'S LIKE SCHOOL BUT FOR ADULT'S
