The Childcare and Eldercare are part of the base game, the free part of Sunset Harbor given to everyone along with the overground metro capability :) So many sick citizens, I didn't think it would be that bad. Even with good medical coverage you should maybe look to fix the source of the problem, check your ground and noise pollution info views while the zoning is visible to identify residential in polluted areas :) Maybe have a quick look at outflow pipes too to make sure the drinking water isn't being polluted, that would be my first suspicion. The only Buffalo Bill I knew was the one from Silence of the Lambs, had to google it as that's not the kind of person who gets a sports team named after them lol.

Okay, I'll throw down some more elder care and childcare. I've added a lot of cemeteries and crematoriums and I'm just treading water. I'll try your suggestion and see if it helps. Sorry about your Bills, but at least you made the playoffs. I live in Detroit... We have been living a "Death Wave" of football for over half a century.

I really do enjoy those elder/child care buildings. I like to place them next to churches as sort of "expanded ministry" buildings for the surrounding community. I wish we had more to work with, but that's a matter of time for all the asset builders out there, I suppose. On a Bills-related note: Jim Kelly is one of the all-time greats, on and off the field. I kept a brake from Cities Skylines and now I have come back in the game, I watched a good tutorial from one KZbinr how to start again, his video did help alot. But then my big city with almost every building max level, over 75 thousand people and so on gets a dead waves, I survived the first one with my own knowledge/tips/information, but then cames another, and I wouldn't survived of it whitout this video. I’ve been having a problem with basically none of my citizens were sick, but so many of them were dying! and the worst part is, the bodies are building up everywhere really quickly, even though I had tons of crematoriums and cemeteries everywhere, they still continue to build up. To the point where I kind of just went mad and spammed crematoriums and cemeteries everywhere I could, but still, the problem proceeded.

I was wondering because I did the math on my birthrate at 1100 a week and average life of 83 years and realized I should have 4,690,000 people in my city but only have 460,000. to me deathwaves and high death rates are completely unavoidable i have a good amount of childcares, eldercare, cemetery, etc and death icons keeps popping up over buildings no matter what but sickness is not a problem for me

Does anyone know of any mods that make the hearse ai only pick up corpses in the district their building is placed in? They keep driving all around town to pick up people on the other end of the city, while residential buildings just down the road from them get abandoned because of no deathcare and people start dying faster than my battalions of hearses can pick them up since they all insist on congesting roads on their quest to respond to calls from the opposite end of the city. The only mods I could find were last updated 5 years ago and therefore have zero percent chance of still working. Edit: Nvm I just found and subbed to the best current incarnation of it, which even restricts them AND all other emergency vehicles to their own district (like IRL emergency services would)- and lets fire trucks target more than one fire per spawning so they don’t make California’s forest-fire brigades look competent when responding to wildfires consuming buildings

If the hearses can't get to the dead bodies quickly enough then everyone else in the building vacates. The huge dips don't occur because bodies are piling up, but because Cims move out. My city is screwed, it's had a death wave for weeks (in real life) that has essentially effected every single building and leaving it abandoned after, I had 139000 people and now I'm down to 119000. I have all the monuments and best health and death care and it's like everyone stopped doing thier jobs, traffic flow is also decently high. This game is really annoying and desperately needs a rework to how this kind of stuff works. Also I have zero demand for anything, and deleting extra commercial hasnt fixed that either

You don't have to have demand for zones when your cities get so big the graph doesn't really show anything anymore,you can see your pop at a standstill the moment you stop building more houses but when you build more houses more people will move into those places (if people not moving in but population still increasings it's the teenagers turning into adults taking up the housing) which will increase demand for commercial and industry too

In my city I have 200k population, on 2/3 of the city presidential areas don't have any issues what so ever not even death signs for many many years, and the other parts they get sick and die alot! So I'm really confused why or how to fix it
