*WARNING THESE ARE NOT IN ORDER! I apologize in advance! I will make an updated video of my collection (at the end of the year) in which it will be in order/alphabetized. Thank you for watching! Cheers!!*
What's up everyone! Here's a tour of my CD collection! Most of them are hard rock and metal with a few odd ones here and there.
I don't buy them as often as I used to (streaming doesn't help), but I still do like to buy them online, or go to my local record shop and get them new or used. The other thing that has contributed to me buying less CDs is vinyl... Man, I love vinyl! I've been bitten by the dangerous vinyl bug. Dangerous because vinyl can be EXPENSIVE. That being said, I'll never stop buying CDs because it's what I grew up with and I'm still quite fond of them.
Anyways, hope you like the video! Let me know in the comments if you see anything that you also have in your collection, or if it's an album you happen to like as well. Or, if you don't like an album, let me know either way! Thanks! Stay metal!!
PS: If you like CDs and Metal/Hard Rock please LIKE this video and hit SUBSCRIBE! Thank you for your support!

Rock on. I’ve been collecting records and cds since 1964. I have nearly 4000 cds. Gave the vinyl away in 2002, never counted it but probably around 5000 pieces including about 200 45s. Sometimes wish I hadn’t given it away but oops. ✌️😁👍

Brilliant mate, a very eclectic rock/metal collection if i might say so, very impressive, loved it. You pulled out some absolute classics like Sabbath, AC/DC, Rush, Rainbow, Zeppelin, Uriah Heep, Deep Purple. I spotted IN ROCK before you even pulled it out hahahaha. But it was good to see you had Dark Side Of The Moon, Yes, Boston, Queen, and was really surprised when you pulled out Windhand, absolutely amazing band. I have that album on both cd and vinyl. I also saw them live in Glasgow a few years ago, an amazing band live.

Thank you! I really appreciate the kind words! AC/DC and Black Sabbath are some of my favorites. Classic rock/hard rock/classic metal is just the absolute coolest. Wow, that's awesome! I have not yet been able to see Windhand live, but I'm hoping to do so one day! And also, I think it's about that time for them to release a new album...I bet the Vinyl sounds terrific!

@@rocknrollneverdies75 the vinyl sounds awesome. I bought a live album of theirs the other week, can't remember what it's called now, but it was on purple vinyl. Seen quite a few American doom bands in the past 10 years, Windhand, Pentagram, YOB, and Karma To Burn although they're not doom metal.

@@rocknrollneverdies75 I'm a MASSIVE Ozzy fan, Just thought I'd share a little information about the 2002 butchered Ozzy releases. This is for you too @Michaelharrison6263 - In 2002 In the Blizzard of Ozz and Diary of a Madman release Sharon had the original bass and drum tracks by Daisley and Kerslake replaced by new recordings from bassist Robert Trujillo and drummer Mike Bordin. 🤮 However, the original bass and drum tracks were reinstated for the 2011 release due to the anger and outcry from fans. -Sharon did this completely behind Ozzys back afaik and it's sole purpose was to cut Kerslake and Daisley from getting any more royalties. Also: Any tracks from the single disk version of "The Ozzman Cometh" containing tracks from blizzard or diary also had the re-recorded versions.

My God. Awesome collection dude :) I am also collecting CD albums. I absolutely love it. As I watched your video about "why I refuse to ditch CD's" I absolutely agree with every sentence you said. I have over 150 CD's and I started collecting them since 2016 (yeah, not so much looking at span of time, but for me it is a lot, and I am continuing collecting) :) I am collecting heavy metal, classic rock, polish rock (I'm from Poland), and a bit of indie rock. Every time I promised myself "this is the last band I will be collecting" I discovered other who I liked, and I added them to my list (yes, I have a list with every band I want to collect and their albums, I am crossing out an album when I am buying a new one) A few bands I am collecting are Motorhead, Korn, Disturbed, Killswitch Engage, Megadeth, Judas Priest, Lynyrd Skynyrd, The Doors and many others. Recently I have added Of Monsters And Men, Black Label Society and The Lumineers to my list. I am mostly buing them from Ebay and other websites like that, I can't see CD in any electronic store in my country. One of the most popular when I was buying usually, discounted them 3 years ago. Record stores and exchanges are only places I can like, take a CD and buy it like, take it to my hand, pay and go home :D Really love seeing collections of other collectors. Wish you to grow your collection bigger, and NEVER throw your CD's away :)

Hi @ShockedChander ! Thanks for watching and for your message! It's awesome that you are collecting CDs! It's so much fun, as you already know, and you get to experience the band on a much deeper level. I think I must have about 300 to 400 CDs, so it's not that far off from you! I stopped buying them for a while and only sporadically would purchase them here and there, but now I've come full circle and on top of that I'm also collecting vinyl too. Haha it's funny I would also tell myself, "This is the last one" or "This is the last one I'm getting for a while..." but no it never is true, and so now I don't care I buy them and there's no limit! Those are all great bands that you mentioned. Oh I see, so is it that there aren't that many record stores in Poland? Or is it because you live far away from the city perhaps? Either way, keep collecting and supporting hard rock/metal! And yes, I will NEVER get rid of my CDs (many of my friends did, but I couldn't) thanks again for watching and cheers!!

@@rocknrollneverdies75 in my city I know maybe 3 record stores but I rarely go there and I saw small amount of albums of bands that I would like to collect, but sometimes, when I see albums of band that I like- I am buying it. But online shopping or exchanges are my main places where I am buing albums. I am living in a city, but that record stores are quite far away so I must get my lazy ass into a bus or tram, and go there 😆. So yeah, online shopping is my main way to expand my collection, but of course going to the exchanges or buing stuff in record store is different experience. But the most important thing is adding new things to your CD empire, no matter which way. I remember funny thing about CD's (for me kinda pissing off, but that doesn't change my opinion about CD'S) When one song I can't remember from "Jailbreak" by Thin Lizzy and "Metal Meltdown" from the album Painkiller by Judas Priest were playing on my CD player, unfortunately the CD's were crashing. I was angry cause Metal Meltdown is one of my favourite songs. But to listen through a full album, I had to play it from my phone, and after that song, continue playing CD. So stories like that one are... not good😁

You know I’m not too familiar with Queensryche… I have operation mind crime 2 but I can’t seem to get into it… I do want to get the first operation mindcrime because I know it’s such an influential album. Technical ecstasy I still do very much like it though. And of course i need to keep my collection growing to include many of those you mentioned. Thanks for watching!

It is your collection and you decide how to organise it - However, could you please put the albums from the same band next to each other at least? Just to see which bands you have the most albums from. It would help the casual viewer in figuring out what your favorite bands are😎👍🏻 Also, personally, I would kick out any albums that you personally think are mediocre or bad (maybe put them in a shoebox or out of sight for a while to see if you miss any of them) - less but greater quality albums make the collection better in my opinion. But at the end of the day, it is your collection, so organise it as you please.

Thank you for the advice Rex! For sure, in my next video (my next updated CD collection that I will do later on this year) I will definitely do that. It will be organized alphabetically and all band will be bunched together. I’m moving in a move hard rock direction so I’ll have a lot of new albums and I will definitely be taking out a few that I haven’t listened to in a while. Thanks again and cheers! 🤘🏼

If you give me $50 and a CD I'll organize all your shit for you. I've never seen a collection that isn't in alphabetical or in order by release date, it's kinda killing me. Metal \m/

I have about 800 in very good condition. What do you do with them when you die? Let your kids sell them? Or your wife? My kids laugh at my cds. They are in very good condition. Some people will just take all my cds and throw them in trash. They mean alot to me. Metal even brings me closer to God. So what do you do with a collection which means so much to you. Give it to a friend or in your testament? Then he dies and all your cds go to trash lol.

That is true, once we leave this world we won’t be able to take our beloved music collection. I would likely give it to a friend/family member who likes the same type of music. But what they do with it is up to them really… I guess for us while we are still alive and kicking in this works we must just enjoy them as much and as often as possible. 🤘🏼Thanks for your comment and for watching!!
