This was a much needed video. I recommend that next video on this you show all the various sizes rigged up next to each other so we can compare the sizes. It's difficult to see the differences when you hold them up one at a time. FYI I emailed D&M a few days ago and learned that TW is no longer going to carry their custom bait signature swimbait. Maybe you can carry that on Core Tackle or convince TW to keep them now that more people know about them and we all now know that it pairs up well with your hooks.

If you can keep doing a few more of these videos that would be great and a suggestion for this would be some of these hiver rigs on a worm or a big 12" ol monster maybe? I bought both of these Core Tackle products back in October, but just now stumbled into a bass pro that actually stocks the crush city free loader or missile spunk shad to pair with it! (Wasn’t gonna pay double on Amazon😀) As you explained, I know this rig isn’t limited to pin tail soft swim baits…but MY GOD, when rigged up perfect, I’ve never seen anything move through H20 so beautifully and naturally in my decades of the sport …p.s. BY GOD, you can cast this thing on a spinning rod well over 100ft from a lawn chair! Can’t wait to rig up the tush on the baitcaster and try that one too! My God, By God this is a Game changer! Amen Core Tackle, Amen.

Very informative video, how about a video of how you design a new bait from pad and paper all the way to tied on everyone’s rods kinda info, probably get a little boring but I’m always curious of the behind the scenes of making new lures, you need to get a chatter bait with TUSH hook on it patented and in production too! The Hover Rig is more of a vertical presentation due to the 90 Degree Jig hook, and glides better than it shimmy's. The Tush is more of a swimming rig not just because of the heavier weight, but mostly because of the 60 degree line tie meant to be on the nose. And the TUSH does add a decent belly roll shimmy to a bait on the drop. I think one of the best aspects most people overlook is the natural look when using both. YOU DON'T SEE THE LEAD! It retains the natural profile of any bait design, as apposed to having a lead head sticking out the front or under your bait. in highly pressured waters, that is a double plus (+plus +plus).

Excellent and timely presentation to explain intended uses. Thank you. 1. I struggle to cast a 1/16 1/0 hover rig with a Keitech 2.8. Just not enough mass to get the presentation out even with a spinning rod. Any suggestion for improving casting distance? Otherwise I’ll limit use to Active Target angling. 2. Any chance that either or both rigs will be released in tungsten? Those lead tubes really explode Keitech 2.8 and 3.3 plastics. 3. I have experienced that both presentations get lodged in rocks less frequently. In fact, often I feel the presentation bump into a rock and then it bounce off. Less snags. 4. I really enjoy fishing the rigs. Still pursuing my first catch though. Can you plan a presentation on the Ozark rig in the future? I can’t cast well with the 1/8 oz rig. Just too light. 3/16 is a bit better. Surely would like to use a 1/4 oz lure for 10’-15’ depths. 2024 is going to be a Core Tackle year for me. Thank you again.

The biggest difference between the Tush and the hover rig is that the Tush is made with uncoated toxic lead whereas the hover rig is made of uncoated toxic lead. Sorry, I can’t support these products. Non-toxic jig heads custom weighted to your liking and application are readily made with non-toxic tungsten beads and your favorite jig hook. Just position the beads on the hook in the quantity, size & location where you need them. I call it the TNT rig - Tungsten Non Toxic.
