Do you know the measurement modes of the power analyzer AN87310?
There are three measurement modes:
1.RMS measurement
2.DC component measurement
3.MEAN rectified average measurement mode
By default, the RMS measurement mode is enabled.
The RMS values of voltage and current are used to calculate the true power consumption.
For non-sinusoidal signals, true RMS measurement is especially important.
Press SHIFT+ESC to switch to the DC component measurement mode.
Measuring the DC component ensures that the DC content in the AC output of photovoltaic inverters is within the allowable range, preventing damage to grid equipment.
Press SHIFT+ESC to switch to the MEAN rectified average measurement mode.
When measuring currents or voltages with significant harmonics, the rectified average value helps understand the total energy magnitude.
It can also be used to estimate the average power of non-sinusoidal signals.
Press SHIFT+ESC again to return to the RMS measurement mode.
