@@patback1001 Yeah, practicing for 4 hours and making it into the NBA WOULD be cool, but it also has literally nothing to do with wasting 4 hours to do a glitch in a videogame thats almost 30 years old. Big achievements like the NBA obviously take more practice than something meaningless like this. Hes just saying that 4 hours of practice is more than he expected it to take considering the video says "just a little practice". Mastering 10 seconds of button timing isnt exactly something you would expect to take as long as getting into the NBA, so its just kind of irrelevant.

Back then it took me like 3 or 4 hours to complete just by looking at the screenshots of the magazine pointing at the places to jump. I did this again two years ago when replaying sm64, but it only took like 7 minutes get up in the castle, then again in another 2 or 3 minutes. I can't do it instantly, but trying for a few minutes i can get up there.

It's probably more the appearance of Yoshi that is the reward for the 120 stars rather than being able to get on the castle itself

I tried SO hard to get up on the roof when I was a kid and I was convinced it wasn't possible. Kinda cool to see someone pull it off.

I kinda guessed Yoshi didn't spawn before getting 120 stars, because when he's around, you can hear his footsteps. I remember a Nintendo Power magazine writer stated they could get on the roof without the canon too.

Mario 64 is the reason in every game I play I try to go off walls, out of bounds, and clipping into shit I shouldn't clip into just to see what crazy stuff I can do😂

Another thing from this game is the 2nd controller, at the end you can move the camera around. Starting from the end flying cut scene and throughout the credits.

I remember the other kids at daycare were so convinced this was possible yet none of us could do it, not on the N64 nor on our DS systems.
