@@patback1001 Yeah, practicing for 4 hours and making it into the NBA WOULD be cool, but it also has literally nothing to do with wasting 4 hours to do a glitch in a videogame thats almost 30 years old. Big achievements like the NBA obviously take more practice than something meaningless like this. Hes just saying that 4 hours of practice is more than he expected it to take considering the video says "just a little practice". Mastering 10 seconds of button timing isnt exactly something you would expect to take as long as getting into the NBA, so its just kind of irrelevant.

I'd say it's unlikely there's that many more secrets to be found, not just because the game has been played so much, but also because it's been modded and hacked so many times. I'm sure plenty of people have seen every corner of the map with modded cameras.

On my way home i had an emergency braking situation which cause the tv to flip and it got cracked on the screen. I coudnt believe my luck. Literally wanted to cry. Tv was in like new condition. 🥺😭 even tried my best to protect it when i loaded it up. Fml..

It would be an exploit if yoshi was up there. The fact he is only up there if you have 120 stars to makes this less of an exploit and more of a secret. Growing up me and my friends playing Mario 64 all knew you could get on the castle somehow without the canon because of all the mechanics the game has to offer.

I remember doing this once in the 90s. I was only told about it and never got to actually see someone pull it off. It was all based on what I was told from a Nintendo customer service rep. With a visual guide I'm sure its a lot easier instead of a description over the phone. Watching this video made me realize I was starting it from too far back.

Back in the day, it was just a myth for us. We had heard this could be done via wall jumping on that right side but of course we couldn’t do it that way. And none of us had all 120 stars. I had 117, I think.

I use to bounce off the castle wall in the ds version for Mario, with Yoshi I use to go to the water fall and use to ground pound and keep jumping in a very complex and weird way to get on the castle

Head to the far right side of the castle. There will be a ramp going down into the moat and a grass wall that players will be able to jump off of. If the player performs a triple jump and on the third jump lands on the grass wall, they will slide towards the roof ledge and grab it.

Yeah. Did this back in late 1996 by reading a magazine in Mexico called "Club Nintendo". Back then it took me like 3 or 4 hours to complete just by looking at the screenshots of the magazine pointing at the places to jump. I did this again two years ago when replaying sm64, but it only took like 7 minutes get up in the castle, then again in another 2 or 3 minutes. I can't do it instantly, but trying for a few minutes i can get up there.
