Should you use BEEN TO or GONE TO? This video explains how to use BEEN and GONE correctly when talking about GOING PLACES in English.

To confuse English learners further 😁 There is also a difference between He's been to England (been there done that) and He's been in England (he is still there) between He's been to work and He's been at work (he's still there)

Yes. But luckilly, those are mostly used with specific amounts of time. Example: He's been in England for several weeks now.

You need to include a length of time. For example, "She has been in England for 2 years." That means that she arrived in England 2 years ago and is still there now.
