That's interesting. I grew up near Little Saigon in Orange County, CA and I frequented Vietnamese restaurants (there are hundreds of pho restaurants and most of them are called "Pho [number]") I've never seen those breadsticks at a pho restaurant. I wonder why it didn't make its way to the US (or at least why it's not a big thing)? They look like 'yo tiao'(?) (Chinese donuts)
