Howdy, my first 2 cars started in 1974, were my last 2 Fords🤠, a 65 Fairlane 500 4dr, 6 and a 3 on the tree bought and sold for $250. It had 100k and seemed totally spent. Number 2, a white with red stunning Tbird that got 8mpg) during the gas crisis,I bought for $1000 put another tho. in rust repair to the rear quarters , new radials and sold for $2000....by then I was ready for some mpg and my first new car a 78 Rabbit 2 Dr 4 SPD.that I loved❤

When I was stationed up in Minot N.D. with the Air Force there, I purchased a 1964 Ford Falcon van with an automatic transmission. It was pretty much a wreck of a van but I drove that van for about 6 months before selling it off. It was a neat old van! I also owned a 1970 Ford F100 Pickup that I really loved driving. It had a 302 in it that was freshly rebuilt prior to me purchasing it. I wouldn't mind getting another one but in 4 wheel drive.

I'm proud to say that I've owned a,'56 F100,'58 Custom 300,'64 Galaxy 500 XL 2 door. A '65 square back factory 289 hi-po & '65 fastback 289 hi-po. A Factory 427 w/ dual 4's Fairlane drag car. A '69 Mercury Cyclone CJ 428 ram air 4 speed. Also a '71 Mustang fastback w/351C ram air C6 auto. The one's i really miss are the '58 & the two '65's w/289 hi-po's!

Would love to own the white 1965 Ford Galaxie 500 what a beautiful car and the 289 was a bullet proof engine. Thanks for great video.

My very first car was a 1970 Ford Maverick. And my dream car is the car my mother owned when i was a kid growing up. That car was a 1960 Ford Ranch wagon, A car i am searching for still. I have owned other Fords, Including a 1963 4 door Fairlane 500 that had the original engine, trans white Paint and Blue interior, I also had a 1964 Ford F100 pickup, and a 1968 Ford GT Ranchero ( A car i wish i had kept.) That Depression era "Model 46" is *KILLER*! No unnecessary chrome to mar those gorgeous lines; no signals even! Just one tiny wiper so the driver has some semblance of visibility. Beautiful basic interior! Less truly is more in this case. This black beauty should sell quickly, if it hasn't already been scooped up!

Long story. My first car was a two door 1962 Falcon Futura with the Thunderbird roof option, white with red bucket seats and a center console. Car was purchased by my grandmother's cousin brand new. She then sold it to my grandmother who drove it for many years. While she had it my father swapped the the 170 ci 2 speed automatic to a Mustang 200 ci 3 speed automatic. The car was given to her daughter, my aunt, who drove it for a bit until a drunk driver ran into the back while it was parked and into a tree. That's when I acquired the car at age 15. The car was 14 years old at the time. My father helped me straighten the car, taught me body work and mechanics to get it back on the road. We painted it red and silver and put a silver half vinyl roof on it. I drove it with an 8 inch steering wheel, no power steering a couple of years in highschool. The car then went back to my aunt and her daughter drove it in highschool and part of college. Then it sat. I acquired it back again with plans to someday make a street gasser, but ended up loosing the car due to some neighbor's complaint to zoning about it and other vehicles sitting by my garage. Really wish I had it back or one just like it. Hope you enjoyed my little history of my first car.

Love fords. My first car 1951 conv in 1957. Drove from ill to Dayton beach fuel pump went out in Ga. Used folded match book stuck up in fuel pump cap which made wore out push rod longer and drove to ill. With that fix. Also fuel pump would vapor lock fixed a splash of water poured on the pump someday I will tell you u how to get broken axle out of rear end
