Exactly the comparison I was looking for. Final Cut voice iso vs M1’s active noise cancellation. I like the voice iso output better.

It definitely gives you more options than the built in cancellation of the M1

Could you suggest what type of cable to purchase for type c to 3.5 mm to connect to mobile phone or dji action 3 etc

i think it's fine w/o the noise cancellation and prefer to have it off as long as the mic is near me.

I mean you can still do a lot in post if you have to, unless you are live or only work on your phone. Otherwise i think you can get away without it too.
