Do You Need Both? | Hammer Black Widow 2.0 Hybrid VS Brunswick Infinity| The Hype

These 2 balls make a pretty good compliment to each other. Both are clean but where the widow is quicker and more aggressive downlane the Infinity is more forward rolling. I've found the infinity makes for a perfect step down for when the widow is over/under or jumpy and the infinity excels at giving you control in higher friction environments. I have thrown mine on CP3 2019, Viper 2023 and old wood house. Predictable on all 3. On the wood house I was able to stay near the track even in game 9 and 10 which is usually impossible for any other piece I own. Highly recommend this ball and also add the Radical Outer Limits for when the widow won't quite make the hill and you have one heck of a set.

Great ball comparison. I really like the black widow 2.0 hybrid from watching videos of it. But because I'm not the best bowler I think on a house shot I might get a few more strikes with the infinity just because it blends a little bit better in the oil if I miss in

Keep up the great work! Always watch the vids. Bowling in a sport pattern league this summer. Still trying to figure out where the 2.0 hybrid is the best. Been using the DV8 Brutal Collision on the longer patterns. Going to try some surface on the 2.0 hybrid tonight on PBA Dragon 45 feet.

Add some surface to blend out the ball reaction. That should help with over/under.

BrunsNick already did that comparison so there was no need to do it. But I still wanted to showcase it against another popular piece. I still have the outer limits a little sharper than the Infinity. just here to provide my insight.

I was looking into both and was going to get the physix im a rookie just getting into bowling. Met some league bowlers and recommeneded me the physix but other shop also recommended me the hybrid which should i start off with haha i like to hook willing to learn the ball. Going to get both sooner or later tho

I would start with the infinity a little more control. The widow is going to be a lot of hook and may leave you a lot more splits because it can be erratic on the backend.

Great video! I am a very average bowler. Avg. 155 to 170 I bought a 12lb. TZone. I have always bowled only with two fingers, no thumb. The TZone does hook, but many of the better bowlers have told me that a heavier ball would make a big difference in my pin counts. I have watched many of the Black widow hybrid videos and am wondering if I purchase a 14lb or 15lb. Ball if it would make that big of difference. I have now started to through the two handed style. I am really liking the better control I have laying down the ball compared to just one handed. Any thoughts on buying a new Black Widow Hybrid, and will it really increase. My pin counts. Thanks Red

Getting a heavier ball will definitely help the ball go through pins better. 14lbs is a good starting place. Widow hybrid is a good ball but I wouldn’t recommend it as your first reactive ball. That’s a big jump, I would go with a hammer raw solid, Radical Rattler, Storm hyped solid, hustle camo wouldnt be a bad option either!

I think the problem is in the first few minutes of the video your voice was only on the left channel. No voice on the right side. I was initially only listening with just a right side ear bud and I could hardly hear any of your speaking, until I put on the left ear bud.

There is no way that is a fresh Bowlero House Shot. That lane is BONE DRY. You need to find a Sport Shot to roll on or at least a FRESH STRIPPED and CONDITIONED House Shot. There is no way any ball you throw tears off the mark when their is oil. Example: @7:01 That widow and cover would EASILY make it through the fronts if you had any oil on the lane. I think the infinity is more versatile in my opinion
