What would you recommend to a career changer? I have worked in the operating room for many years and want to change careers. Cybersecurity has my attention. But where should a newbie start or what to study?

The CompTIA Security+ is a good starting point. NetworkChuck has a great video series for it i would start there

Tons of jobs at the moment. There is a big shortage of cyber security people.
