please make a video on sprinting training plan at home I don't have weights and due to lockdown I can't go out for sprinting

If you can't sprint, how can you do a sprinting program?

@@FlowHighPerformance1 can you give me some tips how to get faster at home because I can't get out of my house for ttaining
@FlowHighPerformance13 жыл бұрын
The only thing you can do is plyometric variations 👍
@blacklotus69943 жыл бұрын
@@FlowHighPerformance1is it fine if I do plyometrics everyday because I have seen in one of your video to do plyometrics only 2-3 times a week?
@FlowHighPerformance13 жыл бұрын
No, I wouldn't do plyometrics every day. Max 3x per week. They are very stressful on the joints and connective tissue 👍
@thierryz13693 жыл бұрын
How do you think about deload weeks? And why don’t you mention them in this video?
@FlowHighPerformance13 жыл бұрын
They were mentioned and included in the example mesocycle 👍
@thierryz13693 жыл бұрын
@@FlowHighPerformance1 Ah I see, im sorry! Is there any evidence regarding deload weeks (regarding parameters for example) that you know of?
@FlowHighPerformance13 жыл бұрын
Actually I haven't seen any research on deloads. It is just a way to manage fatigue 👍
@Vladimyrful3 жыл бұрын
Hmm, maybe I'm mistaken, but it was my impression that we should increase sets on each excercise by 1-2 after the deaload week (start ~ MV and go close to MRV) ?
@FlowHighPerformance13 жыл бұрын
That is one way to program, but not the only way 👍

i don't think periodization is necessary for the vast majority of non competitive individuals, including myself and almost everyone watching this. It has been shown albeit in a handful of studies that non periodized vs periodized (DUP WUP ETC) programs didn't really show significant hypertrophic differences.
@FlowHighPerformance13 жыл бұрын
Agreed, I don't think it is necessary to periodize hypertrophy in any specific manner 💪
@Fossilized-cryptid3 жыл бұрын
@@FlowHighPerformance1 i feel the same way about adding volume as sets in a micro cycle, i think that most individuals once they find their sets per week, they should stick to it as long as possible and eventually they will need to add maybe 2 sets per bp per week and a advanced, but to add it as a progression method would only increase hypertrophy outcomes maybe by 10% if that, i don't think that the disproportionate amount of work to gains is worth it for non comp individuals
@FlowHighPerformance13 жыл бұрын
Yes I agree with this too. I much prefer to keep volume static throughout a mesocycle and only add volume when necessary 👍
