There's no signing that could make more sense for arsenal than this. Hes perfect for us. Even without the fan sentiment, you can tell he's the exact ''goalscoring winger'' profile we need right now. He always had a natural talent and was so so good for us whenever he came on back then. Arteta spoke so highly of him even back when he used to be arsenal captain as a player. I hope he knows he still has unfinished business at arsenal and will come back home to take us back to the top.

Bruh did u watch the games in 13/14. He was immense, even as a dumb 14 year old who knew little about football I could see he was gonna be a big player back then. To me it was so obvious, he was different to everyone on the team.

There was no problem with any of the youngsters back then. Problem was the ownership. It forced Wenger to play this kind of team for years when Chelsea Liverpool Manu were beefing up with world class signing. Manchester City money power added a new dimension. There was only one youngster in the invincible team that was Fabregas. He had all mentors around him. That team would have given any of the Rich clubs today a run for their money.

Wenger was the problem. He left to get game time lol. He could easily have sat him down and said son your my man. Your coming back from injury but your first team starter soon. We love you we need you. Arsene nearly signed everyone world class and let our only world class player of that era go for little. He had a soundbite for every occasion but no bite in that dressing room it seems. Forget bringing him back on 400g a week. But what could have been. Few great seasons then 80 mil to rebuild if he wanted to go to a CL giant.
