I think their reasoning for why makes sense. It's more niche and older people might not care about it. Most of the others ended up on TV and work on a broader audience. So unless something was already insanely popular (HP) or broad enough, it would get more views. I definitely watched Charlie the Unicorn and Puppet Pals way more than the other stuff myself.
