@pepet182 You named 4 out of 11 starters from Cataluna. But people who say the whole team and their success is purely Catalan is ridiculous. Villa scored the most goals, Casillas made the big saves, and Iniesta got the winner. I think the only Catalan goal scorer in the whole tournament was Puyol. But Catalans were CRITICAL to the success, not the whole success.

@esTebanLRD Mas tienen Andalucia, Galicia o Pais Vasco y son Españolas. O incluso me atreveria a decir, Canarias, Ceuta y Melilla.

@PoochMount18 Well, Iniesta scored the winning goal, and he's not from Cataluna. Villa had the most goals, by far. He's not from Cataluna either. Casillas is captain and made the big saves. Again, not Cataluna. And the first manager to take them this far, Del Bosque, also not from Cataluna.

Now you can't compare football players with the rest of the spanish population. And trust me, almost everyone at my age speak it aswell.

@guilleory I think he is proud of Catalonia, what is so bad about that? If he thinks it should be separate, why is that a problem? The Spanish did invade Catalonia after all. Clearly your opinion on this matter is a strong one which is unlikely to change. But what is the problem? He was only joking in this, I don't think it should be looked at too seriously. There is nothing wrong with using your position and fame to influence something by the way, Martin Luther King is a good example of that.
