Q: I feel the need for the past couple of months to separate myself from everything. Meaning certain friendships from church members, family members, etc. At first, i was hesitant. Now I find myself doing so. The people around me haven't taken this very well, specifically inside the body of Christ. How do you combat the feeling of unintentionally hurting someone when trying to seek God more? Or how do you find a balance? I dont want to compromise my walk with the Lord.

Prayer doesn’t bring you closer to God, it makes you aware of his nearness

Which is being closer to God.. when you are aware of Gis nearness you sense the closeness… we have all been drawn near by the blood of Jesus Christ by position. But Scriptures refer that we must draw near to God and that God will draw near to us another way of saying that is get close to God and God will get close to you.

@@ChrisGarcia. I agree, but some people make it seem that somehow he comes and goes. When we are accepted, when we draw near he comes and will never leave us or forsake use. How can we have intimacy with a God that we have to keep chasing after. Once we accept him, prayer enables fellowship, intimacy, and nearness.
