Do You Struggle With Singing HARMONIES? Try THIS!

Very cool. One trick I have used while recording is to figure out a vocal harmony part on guitar. Then when I go to sing and record it, I pick up a classical guitar and very, very quietly play that harmony part while I am singing the harmony into the microphone. It reinforces your ear to singing the harmony part, and if you do it right, the guitar isn't heard in the recording.

I think in one of your videos you mentioned that music education used to start with singing for months before picking up an instrument and I think that is so crucial.

Great explanation. The best thing that I learnt was singing in thirds is to skip 1 degree and sing the next pitch; so guitar goes G A B voice goes B C D. Then harmonising in fifths must be where you skip 3 degrees
