Excuse me. I will speak out. Ok so if I said no to all of these and my doctor is wrong that I have schizophrenia? Or if I said yes to all and I have nothing of the sort of "mental illness" you are describing does that mean I do not? You are a wolf in sheep's clothing. While your intent is to help, you doing much more damage than anything. If an impressionable schizophrenic was researching something like this, it would go straight to their head! And there are more diagnosis than one strain of schizophrenia. One doesn't step into a box and call it home. If you label us witb 6 fkn questions and call it ham when indeed it is baloney...welp my friend you have a lot more research to do. Are you even someone who understands this community? Cuz you've got of ham cooking to do. I am tired of eating this fkn baloney.

If I have 3 or 4 out of those, but I'm functioning ok. The biggest problem is being in public by myself. I start feeling like I'm being watched. I seen many doctors and they don't care, they tell me just go back to your job and keep working. I really don't want to work anymore. I just loosing interest in my daily activities, just don't care.

Here's the legitimate test: Were you diagnosed with Schizophrenia? If you answered yes to the question above, then you're a schizophrenic. Congratulations.
I’ve felt like people can in some way manipulate my feelings. It’s not a literal manipulation, but more like being affected by their energy, or how they’re feeling. Though I do believe people do suffer from schizophrenia, and other mental illnesses, and CBT is probably one of the best forms of treating mental illness. Finding peace in ones self, and probably avoiding any toxins that can affect the brain (aka Drugs and Alcohol), can become a natural peaceful way of living. Though prayers and blessings are sent to anyone going through any illness, and I wish nothing but prosperity and positivity to your health.

That's an interesting test to realize if you are schizophreniac with positive symptoms, but schizophrenia is much more than that... some forms of this illness have other kinds of symptoms ("negatives" and "dissociatives") that are different from this ones (for example, struggles with hygiene, desorganisation, difficulty to be confomrtable to talk with others, paranoia, cognitive disorders...). Apart from this approximations, this is a quite good video : I know it is hardly posible to sum up a whole test in a short video, when psychologists have a test of more than three hundred questions with answers on a scale of 1 to 6 to really get an idea of the degree of illness...
@matejaristic17737 жыл бұрын
Seeker i scored 4 what should i do?
@seeker51697 жыл бұрын
Mateja Ristic Don't worry too much... If you didn't have trouble living with yourself before watching this video, there's no reason to start being uneasy about it. A few years back, I got 11 out of 14 on another test (more precise than this one by the way, but still not significative) and it turned out it was mostly because I was having a depression. Maybe, before calling anyone for help, take a look at dedicated websites and read more about this disorder. You will learn more kinds of symptoms than those presented in this test, and see if you still have some of them. If you don't feel well because of these "symptoms" you saw in the video (and I mean, if you already weren't feeling good before learning what schizophrenia may be), you can go to see a psychologist and tell clearly that you came because you think you are schizophreniac. If you don't and only talk about the symptoms you think you have, they may be too discreet and he may not think about getting you a real, official and effective test to find out what disorder you may have. As I said before, it may not be schizophrenia but a depression, or other disorders (a friend of mine did a similar test and thought he had schizophrenia, but it was "just" an... impulsion phobia? I don't know the english name for this disorder.) So, if you are not disturbed in your everyday life by what you think you have, go on and don't worry. With this kind of "yes or no" test with not that many questions, it is easy to believe you have something when in fact you dont.
@MelB8687 жыл бұрын
You know it's a 3 minute video right?
@seeker51697 жыл бұрын
Melanie Barksdale I do I just meant to precise it was not significative, if no one does half of the viewers will think they are schizophreniac, when I am positively certain most are not (I don't know in which country you live, but for exemple in france "only" 1 adult out of 100 is, and with these tests a good 20% people can believe they are, I think)

I had saw a teddy bear turn it’s head to me.I looked back at it and it seemed normal.a picture on the wall is moving around looking or blinking at me, it moves of jumps out of its sit sometimes.a bed was sinking in or tried to drag me in.idk if this was real or not but I had saw a blue car look like it was trying to float into the sky.I’m really not sure if it was the rain drops on the window of the car I was in.

Confusion about what I am seeing/hearing is real ✔ Cannot keep up my daily task✔ Thought of someone (my relatives that Im living with) was watching me over a cam to find out what Im currently doing (i thought they installed a cctv on my room, comfort room etc)✔ My mood easily change everytime I hear the words that triggers me. and a lot more. I need to see a specialist. I have online consultation this coming October 28, hope I overcome, and I wish all I see/hear is not true.

There are 3 types of Schizophrenia, and one of them is Positive Schizophrenia, the term positive doesn't refer to something good, but rather means that the patient has one or more traits that shouldn't be there normally, like having hallucinations and delusions "like hearing voices or seeing strange figures that are not real...etc. The other type is called Negative Schizophrenia, which is the opposite of Positive Schizophrenia, in this case the patient lacks one or more traits that should be there normally, like feeling empty and being apathetic or lacking the sense of enjoyment while engaging in normal activities that most people would love to experience.

To anyone out there reading this, PLEASE don't use this as a tool for diagnosis. You can hear voices, and not be Schizophrenic. You can be delusional, and still not be Schizophrenic. Many of the symptoms he stated in here, are also apart of other psychotic disorders. I have Schizophrenia, and it's extremely offensive when I see someone say they think they might have Schizophrenia just because they got a high score on one of those damned tests lmfao. It makes people with Schizophrenia look like a joke.

I have that disorder that sounds like ass boogers (asperges). I was too embarrassed to tell people I had asperges because it sounded like ass boogers. I was always noticeably quiet from social anxiety and barely said four words to anyone, even my own mother. And when people ask me why I was so quiet it gave me more anxiety and really made it harder for me to think of something to say.

Talking to normies is counterproductive. First discuss ALL the synptoms to your doctor and be open about why you come to believe you possible need help with skitz. Then (presumptively that will be a next step) with the counceler or psych, open up in details about the symptoms. :) They CAN NOT lock you away UNLESS you are a danger to yourself or others. If you are a danger, take the help as help and not punishment ma'am ;) Short Example: With doctor. "Yes I hear voices, dont trust my thoughts etc. With Psych /Counceler: Umm well, while in church, i get these visions of locking all the doors, and setting the church on fire, so that everyone including children babies burn and scream alive; but as everyone is screaming, demons decend and start raping nuns, and all the wemon as they burn alive. ^That stuff you save for the psych / counceller not for your general health doctor unless you need to move into help desperately. However, that moment will forever change your doctor/patient relationship FOR-EVV-VER. Hold in there stranger friend, and hope things are working out ok for you :)

I got 5 of them.. I hear voices and stuff I actually got sent to a mental hospital at one point.. then it started getting worse to the point where I had a friend who was imaginary ( I say no names) and then I started seeing a whole bunch of ppl in my dreams every night and they would tell me stuff like I had to get skinnier or I’m an idiot and tell me really negative stuff.. at some point I started getting beaten in those dreams (I still have them) and sometimes even wake up with bruises.. then again for the bruises part I have been known to walk in my sleep.. so maybe I was walking and I fell. Either way I think I do and I told my mum about me having Schizophrenia and she said I don’t Bc I wasn’t willing to tell her my reasonings even tho she knowns I hear voices she just doesn’t know I have dreams and see an imaginary person everyday.....

@dianapintiliciuc95265 жыл бұрын
I know what you mean. I'm just 13 years old and I've been hearing voices for four years now. Two of the voices are the ones of my two best friends who died. Now I have dreams where the voices take humanoid form. They say 4 and hit me in the head and then make 4 cuts on my wrist. In my dream it went on like this for a few months until I died. I'm surprised I don't see any one imaginary yet. I went to talk to many psychiatrists but, they didn't help me. they just let me suffer more and more. It feels like they don't care. Sometimes I think it's genetic because my mom has these voices and my mom's mom had them and so on. So is it genetic or is it my best friends that is doing this to me?
@betrayedrosez5465 жыл бұрын
diana pintiliciuc I’m so sorry to hear that.. losing friends are tough.. specially if you’re close to them.. recently I just got ditched by my “best friends” Now I know that being ditched is wayyyy different then my friends dying.. but you’re still lucky tho.. not lucky that your friends died ofc but lucky you still have some friends.. ( I don’t know if you do or not sorry ) I don’t have any friends. Probably Bc I’m not “popular” or “cool” and stuff like that.. also I used to think I was the only one with these kinds of problems I only knew me and my dad did.. Now I know that others did have these problems I just didn’t think anyone’s could be more worse then mine.. I’m glad to know I’m not the only one suffering from this.. but at the same time I wish I was just to save everyone from being lonely or depressed.. I hope your situation gets better.. I wish you the best of luck in life and I’ll be praying for you

the 5th question is irrelevent as most people do not get time to complete all their tasks, does not make them schizophrenic ... and also, how are you going to help someone with schizophrenia ? - if you are not fully trained and seeing them in person, you could end up giving the wrong advice and do more damage !! - leave it to the professionals...
@aaronheaton26066 жыл бұрын
Mike B that's basically what he said in the video like, if you answer yes to three or more questions, know that these are some symptoms of schizophrenia and you may want to seek profession medical guidance.
@mikeb25756 жыл бұрын
but he did say that he could help them, he is not a professional, so no he can't...
@aaronheaton26066 жыл бұрын
Mike B ok. A couple things wrong with what you said. First off, non professionals still hold the potential to help people. I can't believe I had to tell you that but let's move on. He gives some amount of insight, this insight can potentially help people find the correct channels for a proper diagnosis. He himself can't properly diagnose anyone, but he plays the part of the cautious friend who insists upon you getting professional help. Without which we may never have tried for professional care at all. This guy doesn't pretend to be anything he's not. He may not be super helpful but he doesn't even claim to be so I'm not sure what your problem is.
