I have something similar to this and it works fine with a compact or sub compact hand gun. A full size, will definitely print.

My experience with a BB holster is to offset the gun to either 10 or 2 o'clock as this will allow it to ride with better concealment. Also, the cell phone holster is perfect for a wallet instead of a cellphone when in crowds and it is best to secure it in the holster. Folder, Olight flashlight, tourniquet all fit nicely for EDC in this style. Regarding the weapon light, I am seldom out after dark, and if so, personally prefer a weak hand light as I prefer not to search with the muzzle. Just me though.

Thanks for the advice! I could see 2:00 working well for my preferences. Thanks for watching!

Yeah, except when you gotta get your wallet out and pay for something. Concealment blown. 😂

I don’t like any belly band that either doesn’t have a solid holster trigger cover or one that has a snap. The snap would be too much to fumble with in a life or death situation. I use an AlienGear brand belly band when I’m wearing gym shorts, which is 90% of the time since I’m retired and don’t have to dress up any longer. The AlienGear belly band has a kydex holster with traditional adjustable snap in retention. I use a Tulster IWB holster with a Kore Essentials gun belt on the rare occasions that dress shorts or pants are required and the AlienGear belly band holster setup is just as secure and quick drawing as the IWB holster. I would love to see you review an AlienGear belly band setup sometime.

Belly Band: perfect summer lightweight polo shirt/shorts method. There are times you don't wear a belt, making secure carry difficult.

I'll give it a try... Good idea

I’ve used the 3speed belly band for years and love it. It’s made to the gun and accessories. Maybe if I was skinny this bigger belly band would be ok, but I like the skinny belt and the complete gun coverage so it doesn’t touch my skin.

I use a belly band holster for activities which make carrying things in my pockets or even on my belt a burden too great to accept. Mainly, I use my belly band holster for long days in the saddle on my bicycle or at the gym or when walking to the grocery store. Also, I really hate things weighing my shorts or pants down... and I prefer wearing shorts when I'm off the clock. The downsides to belly band holsters are the sweat factor and retention designs.

They definitely have a place in the rotation.

Falco makes a better belly ban that conceals better, I have one and you need to limit what you carry on the belly band. Example, gun, extra magazine, knife and small flashlight is the limit. I don’t recommend you carrying your cell phone. The Falco is a specific handgun custom fit belly band. It works.

I need a men’s corset with holster to draw in my gut.

I'm looking for the most practical conceal carry set up and the belly band version seems to be the most comfortable method. I just can't do the inside the pants method. Too cramped and uncomfortable. One concern is do have with the belly band version you have there is just how cumbersome it is to pull the shirt up, unsnap the snap, then draw. It just seems so slow and too many variables but I guess it's all we got. Having a giant band around your gut didn't seem like the most ideal thing either but I guess we have no other feasible choices.

The clip and carry allows you to use your kydex holster in a belly band. Much better than these solutions in my opinion.

Designed by Veteran's! means nothing to me, made elsewhere, that is a no for me. brand it with the USA flag and it is made by an enemy.
