@@dianehowell2031 when shipping international, it not only requires more information i don’t want to ask for / or share. but it also somtimes runs the risk of charging the recipient upon delivery a large fee for some reason. and if not paid they hold the package somewhere else. it’s impossible for me to get information to solve the matter and they won’t let me pay the fee myself: So to avoid those issues, i limit the giveaways for the time being

Hey @anakinmonkey if i may jump in, for future, would a solution not be to make it very clear (like in a vid like this and in the description, and maybe a pinned comment to make sure they dont miss it) that if the winner is international that they may incur a customs fee, which i assume is the large fee ur talking about etc that you have no control over and by entering they accept this? And ur not responsible for fees charged etc. As someone who is europe based , even if I ordered a suit of my own accord from print costume or any of the major costume sites, i still have the chance of being charged anyway as everything has to go through customs to get here. The difference being, if it was a giveaway it would still save the price of the suit so would still be a win win imo. (also fyi customs is there basically to check nothing dangerous is coming over, there more likely to check if the package is hard etc so for a spidey suit, if the package is soft wrapped in bubble wrap etc they may be less inclined to check it if u did consider this in future 😉) I respect the decision tho as i can imagine it being a hassle, especially if a customer blames you for something you literally can't control. Also just sad i (and anyone else who iznt in thr US) cant enter, as its one hell ofna giveaway lol.
