What a funny fellow

My do35 hitch jams on , so when I try to unhitch ,the jockey wheel lifts both car and caravan . It will not release even after driving forward and backward several times . The hitch is serviced and I dry lube the pin. Any ideas why .

Hi There, Ideally, before hitching up to your tow vehicle, it's advised to check over the coupling, by making sure the Tow Pin and Universal are free of sand, dirt and foreign objects, and is lightly lubricated at all times, as this can cause an issue with the operation of the lock assembly. alternatively, there is also the possibility of some damage to the coupling, if you like to get in contact with us, we can send you a copy of the Maintenance & repair guide for the couplings. are you also able to confirm the model version of your DO35, if unable to please take a photo and email it to us at [e-mail], Safe Traveling.
