For the swifter hack - if you want to use your own swifter just clip the microfiber towel with binder clips (also the dollar tree) so it won’t fall off the swifter ☺️ happy cleaning

Hi Katherine. I’m definitely on a de-cluttering kick. I’ve finally come to realization that clutter and stuff will always be in my life. I created a system that works for me. One tip I don’t see much folks talk about is all the Amazon, FedEx, etc boxes we get and I created a small closet I call shipping and receiving. Everything goes there including mail. All organized of course. Instead of having it by the front door. I also have extra shipping bags for any future returns.

Regarding soap and Odoban for cleaning; A few squirts of Dawn dish soap in a spray bottle and a microfiber cloth is my go to for cleaning. I use it everywhere including my floors and walls. I also add a few drops of peppermint essential oil to the bottle. Makes everything smell soooo good and clean! Also, Odoban.. great stuff! It cleans, disinfects and deodorizes. Use it for cleaning and in the laundry. If it's packaged the same way for DT as it is elsewhere, then that big bottle is concentrated. It's meant to be diluted with different ratios for different needs (ratio instructions printed on the bottle). Great stuff. Used it all the time when I was breeding/showing dogs.

That toilet brush you used for the shower drain is also great for the tall Starbucks tumblers! I’ve tried every brush under the sun to reach the bottom & get it really clean, this works perfectly. It also gets in the threading of the lids really well too.

This is my favorite cleaning video ever! I watch it over and over for refresh. Another way to refine the baking soda and hydroperoxide tile cleaning is to get condiment bottles from DT and put the baking soda in one of the bottles for more precise squeezing direction into grout lines on the tile. It could work with the peroxide, too, I suppose. The original bottle that peroxide comes in is kind of hard to hold and use for the tile.

We use a Dollar Tree Essential Floor Cleaning Mophead to clean the inside front windshield of our cars…. For a thorough clean, we use it with glass cleaner… for a quick de-smudge, use it dry with the DT velcro mophead cover. Works like a charm! And so so much easier on my back and arms than just a microfiber cloth. We have one in each car, and one of our cars is an older Prius with that big windshield!

Hi Kathryn, thank you for another great video! I would love a decluttering video. I just tackled the worst room in our house last Thursday, the kitchen. The kitchen table had become a dumping ground for pretty much everything, I was so stressed! With some help from my mom and aunt we tackled everything and it looks so good. I haven't used the charcoal odor thing from the dollar tree, but in general, they are awesome. We bought one of those for my daughters car after a rat died under the hood - right next to the cabin air intake filter. We also took irish spring soap and put it in some socks under the seats. It took a while for her car to be tolerable, but the charcoal odor thing really helped.

I bought a bunch of those charcoal packs online and use them near the litter boxes and in the bathrooms. They really do work to absorb odors. Once a month, set them out in the sun for a few hours to refresh them. OdoBan has been around for years. We used to use it on bedding and mattresses when our sons were growing up and had nighttime accidents or got sick in bed. OdoBan to the rescue! (This was about 40 years ago.)

Teacher on summer break. I just decluttered my 2 pantry cabinets after finding a can of soup that expired in 2014!😯I even put in puck lights from the Dollar Tree, so I can see everything from now on. I have found the Dollar Tree magic Erasers work really well on grout as well. Of course you have to get down on the floor. Finally, I am so excited I found the first Dollar Tree near me with a Plus Section!😁

Kathryn (40 ) years ago we lived in a townhouse with WHITE floor tile that had ( remember when??? LOL!!) indented orange /avocado green Diamond shapes in the white floor tile. I used a product called soft, scrub with bleach. I never seen a cleaner floor. There were 394 tiles in the bottom of that townhouse which was a little a kitchen a half bath and a long hallway, and it was all with the white tile I mentioned above. It was amazing how clean I got that tile with soft scrub and it would’ve been need to of had the products that you showed cleaning your bathroom tile back then love your channel you do a great job.

Great extra uses for products you probably already have! Another great spot/carpet cleaner especially floor mats 409 spray. It will amaze you at what it gets out! No it’s not usually a dollar tree find but I have seen it there time ago. The Odoban works great to remove smells out of vehicles

Also if you could please share any finds , because I just moved, everything was filled with dust, because all of the blankets, towels, clothes especially, I’d love to throw away some & separate the blankets, towels, winter summer clothes, with bins that have a top to them and for bathroom and closets, cute ones, as well. I don’t like to put my items, where I know the dust just flows and I’m super allergic to, now in a studio with a very large walk in closet and brand new storage room, right across from my apartment, that’s all closed up, but it’s still NC, I’d be in heaven. Thank you for all of your amazing videos. They motivate me. Especially while looking at a bunch of boxes, I know are filled with god knows what, I need to go h through, release my baggage I hold onto and start fresh. I’m moving from a 2 bedroom and this place is still under construction inside and out-Dust from it is awful. Outside patio finds. Not just dishes. I don’t know where, but inexpensive patio furniture and maybe a DYI patio screen, made with something cute like beachy sticks or some type of curtain. I could probably go on forever. Waiting for the 1 bedroom to open in October. I’d love to have everything labeled nicely, cl or see on top, even for bathroom products. Easy to do in here, then switch over easily. While you were using that Barbasol for your faucet fixtures, you reminded me of my husband's stories from his college days. He told me that they used to have Edge fights (yes, the shaving gel) to blow off steam during finals, at the end of the year. They did this because they said that Edge would clean everything in the house that they had rented (I can't vouch for that part; we weren't even in the same states at the time), but I have tried Barbasol, because Edge wasn't always something that they carried where we were living when we first got married (& the Barbasol works well too). If you spray it on your walls, it will clean off those dirty handprints (& it worked on both painted surfaces, even on the textured/pebbled walls, & on the wallpapered walls). For years, we've used it kind of like you were using that glass cleaner in this video.

Under that bathroom sink there is wasted vertical space. I put a plastic drawer (mine are Sterilite) and topped it with a piece of shelving (so the top is flat) and put the baskets on top of that. Also, put a piece of non-slip rubber mat so it doesn’t slip. I can only fit 1 drawer under my sinks, but you could stack more if you have the space. My drawers can fit toilet paper, tissues, beautiful tools, etc.

I ran out yesterday to buy the shaving cream and OMG I couldn’t believe it. I had to have my husband look at it. Thank you for showing yourself using the same cleaning product for multiple things. Part of the expense of cleaning products is marketing! They make you think you need different products for each thing in the house. They are all basically the same thing in a different bottle. I love the Dollar Trees LA Totally Awesome shower spray for spraying on after you get out of the shower. I've used vinegar and baking soda for years on my grout but am going to try the peroxide instead. I like that it dries up and you can then sweep it then mop. Using my steam mop takes a lot of passes to get it all up.

For better application control I pour baking soda in an empty plastic spice jar and it’s easier to sprinkle onto a stain. I used to hate pouring baking soda out of the box bc either too much pours out or clumps tumble out more than I need.

I love your videos! Thank you for sharing. 2 Tips for decluttering a closet. Place 1 Pair of pants with 1 matching shirt to reduce hangers/space by 30% and less stress when picking out an outfit. Use laundry clips or any clips, on a hanging rope to hang hats, hand bags or scarfs+. When displayed vertically or horizontally, you can quickly find what you need and easily get rid of things you no longer want.

I am definitely trying that dash/glass cleaner - whenever I go through the car wash I clean the inside while I'm riding through, a single product and DT price 🤯 I keep my cleaner/ microfiber hidden in the glove box and the other in the door pocket. Here you go Kathryn, the pitch for your hubs!! Hey Charlie, I vote Red Bronco. I gave up my wrangler to try a full size twin turbo Bronco, it handles & rides so so much better. I'm always late & is so much faster than my Jeep Wrangler. Rag top is much easier and 1/2 doors stay on - jeep I would have had to buy those at $2000 😮 I get 21.4 MPG and that's good for what I like. I just miss the Jeep stereo, how the back window opens, finding ducks on my car and the parade in Toledo OH. Bring on the declutter video!
