I agree, I feel like Thrift stores took advantage of the fact that they got to be open during COVID-19 and jacked all their prices back up and they haven't dropped down. We have Goodwill stores, Salvation Army stores and Maj-R-Thrift and all 3 of them have raised clothing prices by $1-3 for most items and rarely have decent discount days. Even when they have excess inventory. Plus they are watching for high end brands and those items now start at 9.99 and go up. Rarely find "gold mine" anymore and usually still have to launder, clean or repair things. I love FB marketplace. We also have several buy,sell,trade sites and a cpl of $1 start auction sites. Love both tables

Yes, I've noticed all the prices going up BIG TIME at all my thrift stores. All the items are donated, I think they're just taking advantage of clever people like u who can re-do things! It's a bummer tho, cause finding the "hidden gems" at low cost was 1/2 the fun! Great projects in this video, the buffet was my favorite!

I absolutely love both tables. I think they compliment each other. I'm a short person and when I sit in a chair I want a short table next to me so I can see where I'm laying or sitting something, being able to grab without straining my neck to look up. So I love both of those. Good job.

Yes, I have to agree that the thrift store is getting ridiculous with their prices in Massachusetts. I found $1.25 dt items for $3 & $4. I love all 3 pieces.

I've shopped FB Marketplace in both Phoenix, AZ, and Portland, OR. Great pieces available at affordable prices or free. I much prefer shopping there to going to Goodwill.

Hello from California! Yes I love FB marketplace. My husband and I have gotten so many neat things from there. The tables are awesome I do like the shorter one but both are super cool. We don't buy dressers brand new ALWAYS used because we like solid wood furniture. So we go to marketplace and offer up. Nowadays you can't buy furniture that's solid wood everything is sawdust and doesn't last. Thank you for these videos I love watching them and I love the ending. Your positive energy is amazing

I love the decoupage piece, but I don’t think those crystal knobs really go with it. The style of the knobs seems to be fighting with the style of the decoupage and the rest of the piece. I absolutely love how the etching on the piano turned out. That was incredible!

Charity shops in the UK can be really expensive & it’s often cheaper to buy brand new. Facebook marketplace wouldn’t work for me, as you usually need a car to collect the stuff & I don’t drive. Also, I’m very fussy & only like white furniture, like white wardrobes etc. I find dark furniture really depressing. Copper is so cute. x
