There's 3 main vocals in EXO, Baekhyun, Chen and D.O but D.O have the best runs and voice control. His voice alone is the best among the three, it's too beautiful even when he's just talking. Chen is too good in Belting high notes and have an unbelievable talent in singing within. Baekhyun is too soulful, his voice is the same with his visual, too gorgeous. The three of them together is a masterpiece that no one could surpass. Totally amazing

I just want him to get a vocal trainer that will teach him how to keep his anxiety from affecting his voice. You can always tell when he's getting anxious in a performance, when he starts overthinking and starts to get nervous about the notes hes about to hit. His voice just develops this tell tale shakiness... An underlying tremor, that just destroys his vocal power. He started out perfect here, then you literally hear when he starts to doubt himself and if he can hit the notes he knows are coming next. I honestly think he has the most potential in EXO. Chen is at his vocal peak, his voice cannot evolve any further than where its at, he can only improve his technique, the same for my Baekhyun. Both of their voices are at their max potential, only technique and experience will mature them further. But this little one? Once he works on his self esteem and confidence.... Lemme tell ya. He is gonna stand with the likes of Xiah Junsu and KWill.

I can't agree. This gave me goosebumps while the record/single version didn't (and I love it too). Imperfections and struggle can make things even more beautiful. A performance should never be completely effortless. But I understand that not everyone can be touched by a performance in the same way, so this is just my opinion.

From a vocal technique perspective the ideal is to be able to have an effortless performance. After one has achieved that level then they can choose when to “break the rules” so that there performance can convey more emotion. A lot of people actually prefer the sound of an untrained voice bc it can convey a more effort full and naturally emotional performance, but what people forget is that proper vocal technique doesn’t just exist to produce an effortless performance for the sake of it, that effort and uncontrolled emotion you are hearing, played out over time, is damaging to a singer’s voice. Proper vocal technique allows for people to keep their voices intact as they age, which lengthens their careers and reduces the need for things like vocal cord surgery.
