Useful video, looks like quite an easy to use machine 👍👍

And now its time to combine the robot with the little emco pc turn

@@uptimefab7412 haha oh yeah! would love to do it with my retrofitted emco (the same as yours). but such cobots are quite expensive

Great video, thank you! I would like to use the robot with a push button as well. What kind of button and cable is this?
@uptimefab74126 ай бұрын
Hi, thank you, I am typically using LAPP cables for this type of application. They have all sorts of variants ( shielded/not shielded, wire thickness and wire quantity). The button is a generic momentary contact button. Can't recall where I bought this specific one, but they are sold at many stores like Conrad or Reichelt in Europe.

Thank you for this review. Great work. Did you also performed tests at max velocity? It seems to move relative slow considering the specifications?
@uptimefab741211 ай бұрын
Thanks, much appreciated. I only tested at relatively low speeds for safety. I was on my own with the robot at most times and also did not have any safety barrier. Even though it stops when it hits something it is better to be safe than sorry. This robot is quite large and intended for professional use, in which case a machine safety assessment will be done. Since I was just experimenting it was best to keep it at low speeds.

Mooier video, goede uitleg. Erg mooie Pentax heb je, wel wat jaloers.

Bedankt! De Pentax staat tegenwoordig meer als decoratie in de kast, maar werkt nog steeds. Erg leuk zo'n stukje old school techniek.

@@uptimefab7412 Do you know how compatible Nova 2 is with the other Dobot accessories? Can I integrate the Dobot Vision Kit into DobotStudio Pro ?
@uptimefab7412 Жыл бұрын
As I understand it, the Nova 2 is not compatible with the vision kit. It can interact with cameras over Ethernet or through the available IO, but it seems like the users should configure this themselves. I don't have experience with cameras over Ethernet. If you need more details on this it is probably best to contact dobot support though the forum or call your local supplier.
@DeBodo Жыл бұрын
@@uptimefab7412 Okay I see. I guess the Nova 2 is much more on the professional side and is meant to be integrated in tools like f.e."Mech-Mind"... Thank you for the quick response :)

could you suggest me any website that offers course classes for robots in industry use? thank you
@uptimefab7412 Жыл бұрын
Hi, good question. I have not taken any robotics training myself, so I can't speak from experience for websites offering training. If you are looking for a training for your day job I would go with a training from a manufacturer like ABB or Fanfic, but that will not be cheap.
