I'm a Dobyns guy 100% , have 21 of them. My go to frog rod is the Champion 735C for open water frogging, for slop I use the Champion 736C. The 736 is the best frog rod on the market by far 😉

It is a great rod! I prefer the 735.

Over the years I tried everything. Got on a Allstar rod and then switched to g-loomis. Tried Lews for very short time and quit. Still use the reels but not the rods. Now I use about one of every thing. What ever feels good and does the job.

I have been a team guy for Dobyns for around 10 plus years. Yes I've gotten Steve to start making the switch to Dobyns.

I switched to Dobyns rods the start of last season mainly Fury . I picked up 6 champ xp rods a few weeks ago for $450 good old FB market place

Been using dobyns since 2010 I think, kinda upset gary moved to Texas and sold the company.

I hear you. It is a very nice facility in Texas. I think the quality will stay though. The industry is a business.
