Thank you, you are very kind! That's a Oud, an Arabic lute, I don't know if you're familiar with it. Even though historically, it is actually the forefather of the lute and the guitar, playing it is an entirely different ballgame to playing the guitar. I do play guitar though. I don't often get someone to do the guitars in my work. In most of my songs, I do all the instruments, including keyboards, bass and guitars - and on some of my songs, live drums. Sometimes, like in the song we did together, I hire others for some of that work. It just depends what I am trying to create. I sometimes like how bringing in other musicians broadens the spectrum of the song, and gives it 'more life', in a way. I know who to hire when I need another female vocal again, though! ;)
