I don't understand this hatred for F4 from the same people who praised F3. 4 is almost the same game on a new engine with *improved* combat sys. and possibilities for character building. Game strcuture, story and quests quality are the same... i mean c'mon Bethesda taked the same directions and simply followed them further. New Vegas is another deal: much better than both 3 and 4 combined of course and maybe, maybe even better than classics.

@@vladurban6036 yet it is the most successful fallout ever made
@Copadon4 жыл бұрын
@@sirballin9016 Success doesn't inherently mean good critical or fan reception. How many years has it been since FNV and people STILL compare it, much more favourably at that, to F4? Part of it is definitely nostalgia goggles, but as a guy with literally thousands of hours in both games, and I do like both games at that, F4's biggest strengths honestly is just that it's less old and janky than FNV is on a technical level. FNV blows 4 out of the water with damn near everything else; perk variety, unique quests, viable and versatile weapon options. The list just goes on and on. F4 made a lot of changes, and unarguable unnecessary ones in a lot of cases. And as for the comparisons to 3, again nostalgia goggles because I think 3 is atrocious and 4 is a definite step up. But, the biggest arguments against F4 here is F3 felt more like a Fallout game visually and musically, and an RPG. F4 conversely is an action shooter with RPG elements with pretty nice, but overall generic music. Like they were secondary details.

I've been living here for 22 years andI'm still here,things have changed all around me the cities around me have changed and not for the better, the biggest city is L.V.(aka Las Vegas) its still pretty much the same however, L.V. is 11 miles West of here and I go for supplies once every two weeks for two weeks worth of supplies (food,medicine,toiletries,etc)........ I live in the house next to the road it has always been a dirt road and was rarely fixed and most times I did it myself, my house which I've lived with my wife & kids,my wife and I keep the house and the house next to us well kept our oldest daughter now lives there,my wife(Melanie) was & still is a doctor(physician),I'm a former Soldier later a County Sheriff's Deputy now I consider myself a Security Officer at Large making sure the other survivors between here and the cities are protected,with us are our 5 children Kylie the oldest(23)now lives next to us in the neighboring house she is a nurse,next son Jeff(20)my honorary Security Deputy,2 more daughter's Tess(18),& Kaylee(16)& another son Dillon(14)........ with the two houses and the modest sized properties combined we have approximately 122 acres altogether,we have a workshop,a garden,while not the fanciest place its our home in these trying times........ living next to the road we are able to see any traffic going in & out of the area, we have a few neighbors either direction but there is a distance of 10 to 20 miles between us and several more from the towns & cities in the vicinity of us, I wired our property with the best security equipment,alarms,locks,etc........ we have the best satellite connections with the internet & cellphone service, keeping us in touch with our neighbors,the cities and towns around us, to help protect each other when its needed,now there are alot of good people out there but there is also people who are not as good or nice out there as well, they are the ones we all have to beware of........ things are slowly getting better but it'll take time to get back to being normal again but it also takes time and effort to do so,so just keep up the good work, the rest of the world will be back as well,because with God helping us we will survive and there maybe heartbreak as well around the corner but thats apart of life, so from me,my family,our friends and neighbors,the citizens of L.V.,and our surrounding townships,and the entire world as well,I wish that you have a good life,rest & relax, also work as well as you can, so TAKE CARE EVERYONE,SLEEP PEACEFULLY, PROTECT YOURSELF & YOUR FAMILY & FRIENDS,PRAY REGULARLY, AND GOD BLESS YOU ALL MY FRIENDS,THANK'S.

Last time I played I had the 1897 Trenchgun mod and after he fixed me up I borrowed his 1897 shotgun for early game and returned it with double the ammo I borrowed. Doc Mitchell is a good man, and I would not have made it without him.

Doc Mitchell is such a tragic character, and all this story made for a guy you speak with once in an average play through, just goes to show how much of a detailed game FNV is.

His home,wife and his joy of living overall. His home was taken from him by force. Also,by someone he was always told to fear. So he left all he had along with his wife,who would eventually succumb to her demise all thanks to Mr.House.

Goodsprings has such a "homey" vibe if that makes sense.
