I was introduced to this style from Bryan Sutton and Billy Strings. Once i found the fathers like Doc, Rice, Emmanuel and so many more. I have fell more in love with the flat pickin'. It is about the knly thing i attempt to learn on my acoustic now.

The old timers are as much fun to watch and listen to as the new replacement group are. I'm a part of the old timers group, born in 1942 the 24th of Jan. Missed about three weeks of that there year. Been a listening to music for about 75 of those 82+ years. Play a few of those strings instruments just for the fun and at church now and then. Never give up, music is life of smiles!
