Problem with this setup is that new nodes won’t run because they don’t have the data directories. You’d want to use some centralized storage for the swarm to act as a swarm(high availability)

yes, you are right. as I said in the video this is a good dev setup. if you want a cluster then you should use something like glusterfs or ceph to store the data.

Binding the ports to the outside of the containers is not a good idea if you have not set up an additional firewall in hetzner as there will be a good chance you now have opened all your containers to the internet. If you have everything in containers, there is actually no reason to expose the ports directly.

yes, that is correct. It was to show how to deploy it. with out firewall it will a security issue.
